Had to find a power source for it ( usb to type c) but it does what it says it will and even comes with cables (though hilariously short). Would buy again

This is the two port switch and it works great. I have a NUC and a BeeLink mini computers both running Ubuntu and after connecting them both, the switch came up and operated correctly. This switch helped me clean up my workspace and declutter my countertop. I would definitely buy again.

Good little kvm. I have a server rack that contains 3 machines, a Plex server, video reencoder, and my personal PC. I have my video encoder and Plex server feed into this, which then feeds into a HDMI switch with my personal PC to a third monitor.Works for industrial use, unsure how the latency is for gaming or the like but for basic I/O it works fine.

This is a great device that allows me to use my own laptop, my work laptop, and use the same keyboard, video (monitor), and mouse (i.e., KVM). It comes in a small box that contains the switch itself, two USB cables, and 2 HDMI cables.I admit I was a bit overwhelmed when shopping for a KVM switch as all the connections seemed very confusing. But it's really quite simple. The front of the switch contains two USB ports (one for your USB keyboard, one for your USB mouse) and one HDMI port (goes to your monitor). The back of the switch contains 2 sections, 1 for PC1 and one for PC2. Each section contains 1 HDMI and 1 USB. Just use the provided cables to connect the HDMI and USB cable to each PC, with PC1 being your default PC (probably your personal PC) and PC2 being your work PC. I think what was confusing is that I forgot that a single USB cable could connect multiple devices. But then I remembered USB hubs. So even though there's only a single USB cable going to each PC, that is all that is needed to connect both your keyboard and mouse (i.e., the inputs on the front of the switch).I did have a minor scare, when starting to type out this review, I noticed the keyboard wasn't properly responsive. It would repeat letters, miss letters I typed, etc. I unplugged the keyboard from the KVM switch and plugged it back in, and the problem seems to be solved. Perhaps I didn't plug it in properly the first time around. The connection to the switch itself doesn't feel terrific, there is some looseness, but for now it seems to function. If it has that keyboard issue again, if I can't open it to correct the looseness, it may go back. But all is good for now.It takes about 3-4 seconds to switch between PCs. Great little device!

I got this to switch one keyboard, mouse, and LG monitor between two Mac computers and out off the box it was glitchy and didn’t work well at all. The USB ports worked fine, but there were major problems with the video ports. One HDMI channel worked fine, but the other one delivered a green screen. I tested with different cables, tried switching the computers to opposite ports, and even tried different computers. Nothing resolved the issue, so I exchanged it for another one through Amazon. The replacement KVM had issues too, this time the bad channel showed a grey/tan screen, and unplugging/replugging the HDMI cable each time I switched would often resolve the issue…. but obviously the whole point of a KVM switch is to not have to do that.So I spent the extra money on a io gear KVM, which was about twice the price (ughh) but worked flawlessly. So I think it’s safe to say there’s an issue with these KVMs. It may work for you, but make sure to do a thorough test before throwing away the box and packaging in case you need to send it back.

TLDR: This device is a game-changer for using one mouse/keyboard across two computers. With a simple button tap, it seamlessly switches control between them, perfect for dual-computer setups. Easy to install and reliable, it's a must-have for multitaskers.I've found this small device to be incredibly useful for managing two computers simultaneously, such as a work and gaming setup. Its ability to switch control between two systems with just a button tap is incredibly efficient. This feature is particularly handy for setups involving a desktop and a laptop, as it eliminates the need to constantly plug and unplug USB connections.Another great use for this device is in extending screens between a work and personal computer. It's an essential tool for anyone who frequently uses two computers throughout the day and needs a seamless way to switch between them.Setting up the device was a breeze, and its performance has been consistently reliable over nearly a year of use. We even attached it to the desk with a command strip for added convenience.Overall, I'm extremely impressed with this product. It's practical, efficient, and has significantly streamlined my workflow. I would highly recommend it to anyone who works with multiple computers and seeks a simple solution for managing them.

Swith is smal and easy to integrate. It lights up in one of two colors, depending on which device is selected as the one receiving the inputs. Only detration: the light can not be turned off. It is very bright and there is no 'tiny light' alternative, making it necessary to cover the switch at night to keep a room dark. This makes it a stand alone, and given bits like this are proliferating within the mini-pc phenomenon, it is unlikely to be a contributor to ending light pollution, as other, similar, necessary extensions are also going to join in on a solution. Works great though.
