I really wanted to love this. Truly hoped it would work. It does and doesn’t. It requires a hot spot. The operating system is clunky and not user friendly. To move back and forth between the CarPlay and operating system with the apps (Netflix etc) is awkward and unwieldily. The CarPlay is using the Bluetooth while the App requires the hotspot so it requires you switch back and forth between them to move from maps or Spotify etc over to Netflix/HULU etc. Not a seamless transition and takes a lot of steps. Wouldn’t recommend this until it’s more fluid. It would be easier to screencast to the device to stream what’s on the phone but it doesn’t support that.

Easy to hook up and now i have wireless android auto. Put the box in my center console so it's out of the way. Having issues getting Netflix to sign in, but still awesome to have wireless android auto.

Primary reason to buy was wireless CarPlay, and it works great.Working with iPhone, I cannot seem to mirror image to the screen (Hulu). I know it has Netflix features, but does any iPhone owner able to do this? And in advance, yes I put my phone’s Hot Spot on

Tried on two different 2024 model car . Keep getting disconnected every time you turn on the car . Have to pair manually on both cars. Gets very hot in just few minutes. I returned the first one and then ordered second thinking the first one might be faulty but same results with the second purchase. Returned both as not worth spending money.

I recently purchased this awesome Wireless CarPlay Adapter that supports Netflix, TikTok, YouTube, Android Auto Wireless, and more, and it has completely transformed my in-car experience. It is small but very powerful. The setup was straightforward—simply plugging the adapter into my car’s USB port and following the pairing instructions had it working in minutes. Its compatibility with both iPhone and Android makes it incredibly versatile. The connection, powered by 5GHz WiFi, has been consistently strong and reliable, providing smooth streaming with no lag or buffering, even during long drives. I use the hotspot from my iPhone, and I have no problem streaming. The adapter’s multifunctionality is impressive, supporting Android Auto Wireless, CarPlay, TF card mirroring, and file sharing, making it an all-in-one solution for entertainment and productivity. Navigating its intuitive interface is seamless, whether switching between apps like Netflix and YouTube or using standard CarPlay features. Its compact design fits neatly in the car, and it remains cool during extended use, ensuring consistent performance. This device has been a game-changer for family road trips, keeping passengers entertained with streaming apps while enhancing the driving experience with Android Auto’s navigation and music features. If you’re looking to upgrade your factory-wired CarPlay system with wireless connectivity and top-notch entertainment options, this Wireless CarPlay Adapter is a must-have. Highly recommended.

I am a delivery driver, so I'm in my car all the time. I'm also an online student, and I like to listen to my lectures (which are delivered via online videos) while I work. This is a much better, much safer way for me to do that. And no more having to plug in my phone to connect to Android Auto. I keep my phone in my pocket and it connects automatically.

Works in my 2024 Porsche Macan-S, mostly. Not a perfect solution, but useable. Maybe that's why the people at Porsche do not offer Android Auto in most of their cars. Unit does wirelessly connect OK without any effort by you, after the first time pairing and connecting.Map voiced instructions loose first 2 words, inherent BT delay. Cannot download any apps from ANY of the 2 play-store-like apps. Was told the play store apps are only for upgrading one of the 3 apps built-in [Tik-Tok, Netflix and You Tube, which actually work well] or the firmware or software of device. Power outlet in my Porsche car runs 20 minutes after turning engine off. Unit does not have any switches, so must unplug unit or risk battery drain. Mostly connects wirelessly well, sometimes big delay. Inherent flaw in switching over and then back from your hotspot to BT, item freezes. Must stop hotspot before switching back from WiFi to Android Menu, or must unplug unit. You don't need WiFi unless you want to use Netflix, You Tube or Tik-Tok. Android side of menu (standard, no WiFi, just BT to your phone) does provide the most needed apps [Google Maps, Waze, Calendar Amazon Music, Messages, News, Phone, Reminder, Weather, WhatsApp, YT Music, Game-Snacks(dumb), Settings, Customize and Exit to car. The map instructions delay that cuts off the first 2 words is a potential issue. I was going to bail on it, but it overall is good enough for me. Otherwise my car does not leave me any option since it does not come with any Android Auto at all. If you are thinking of purchasing the more expensive ones with Android 13 built in, and sim card slot, think again. To use the Android 13 side, you need to get a sim card and pay a monthly fee to your mobile provider. Not worth it. And that expensive one didn't work right in my car, only got a partial screen -sent it back. My 2nd choice was the square shaped one with WiFi, not SIM. That one displayed well, but would not take voice commands consistently (texting). Service said they are working on it, yeah sure. Sent that one back also. This was the lowest price one and worked the best. And does voice texting fine. I confess I did watch a little Netflix (KAOS) just to see if it worked. It does BUFFER now and then. Note: I was parked at home at that time, not driving and watching. Hope you are responsible too. Podcasts run well, do that when driving, not video. NOTE ALSO: Does Not play any Photos, whether you copy to microSD card or anything else. And remember, you cannot download a PHOTO app. But it does play your Videos from the microSD card (which they call a TF card). Might have to tweak the video resolution if done on a phone, or image is stretched wide.Sometimes GPS is lost and directions freeze.Sometimes device looses BT connection, must unplug and replug.BTW, seller offers $50 gift card if you give 5 stars. Don't trust any 5 star reviews here. After a month, device degraded. No longer accepting hot spot connection. Maps looses GPS connection more often. Time to return.
