Before buying this product I researched to ensure this would work on my car.Ford Mondeo Titanium MD, OCT 2016 manufacture as the Sync 3 In FORDs are not that great a system.Had enough of plugging in a cable every time in and out of car.For me everything worked as per Manufactures instructions , Connected with my phones Bluetooth as quickly as any other Bluetooth device I have paired .Now I get in the car and it's quicker than wired because I don't have to do anything,Actually if you sit in the car for a bit without turning the car on this item connects to phone and then when you turn the car on it comes on once the Sync 3 starts up.Great product well worth the money, in a couple of Months I'll get one for my wife's cat as it work in her car as well. This is so I don't have to move the Dongle around.Wife's car is Hyundai i30 SR premium 2017.Just Order another one for my Wife's car couldn't wait a couple of months.Read and ensure that it fits your model car (2016 onwards) & you will not regret it.

Really liked this product the first few times I used it. Connected to my phone and apps easily. After that, it's been a huge pain. When I'm in my house, and car is off and this is plugged into car, it is constantly connected to my phone. In order for me to stop the connection I have to go to my car and unplug it. Then when I plug it back in and try to connect, I have to either reboot my phone or disconnect to then reconnect. Such a hassle. Also, in addition to having to unplug it Everytime I exit my vehicle, if I don't do this, it competes for my home wifi and won't connect to home wifi. Really too much of a pain. I would not recommend this.

Great product! I chose this because of it's low profile and small size. And the 90⁰ adapter is helpful to keep it almost completely out of the way. Easy to set up. Connects immediately. No complaints! Compatible with Pixel 8 Pro.

It works exactly as described, and pairs just as fast as my cabled Android Auto between my Chevrolet Volt and Samsung Galaxy S22. The only issues are it stays powered on when my car is off, which may kill the battery, it requires both my phone's Bluetooth AND Wi-Fi to work, and the right angle adapter is does not work for my application (orientation is opposite for my needs).I wish it would work without WiFi connection as the factory plug in Android Auto doesn't need it, and I wish it would properly shut off when the car was off. I'm worried this dongle is transmitting my data without me knowing and it could kill my battery in my car.

Decided to take a chance on this since it's half the price of the AAWireless 2 and also I like the idea of a dongle that didn't require cords. Small form factor means it doesn't take up a lot of space and does it's hard b reliably. I have a 2019 Altima SL. I plugged this thing in and it took a few seconds to connect to Android Auto but no longer than when I plug my phone into my car. The connection can take a while if your phone is already paired to your car because the Bluetooth connections will compete with each other on your phone. I deleted my phone from my car and vice versa and that fixed the problem. This thing is perfect. I don't notice any difference in quality between this and when I plug my phone in for wired Android Auto.

I have been using a cable to connect my Android to my car for a couple of years. This worked well at the beginning, but as time went on, I started to have connection problems, and i had to frequently change cables, or change how and where I place my phone in my car. Things got so annoying, and I decided to try this widget. I am glad to report that things have been working fine. The dongle turns on when the car is turned on, and in a few seconds it connects to my phone (that I already paired). The delay is about 10 seconds, which is the same delay for connecting the phone itself to the car via Bluetooth. The one inconvenience is that once in a while, my phone connects to my car even when the car is turned off, and for a few seconds I lose audio on my phone. I am assuming that the dongle is not turned on all the time, because usually the car will turn off the USB connector when it is off. When I used to have the phone connected via USB directly, the audio keep running even when I turn the car off, but it eventually goes off once I open and close the door.

This is my first time with a vehicle with an Android-friendly infotainment unit--anf like most people, I got tired of playing Hunt The USB Cable. I chose this unit because my first choice was not available yet, and I liked this unit's smaller form factor. The price was also right.Installation was not a problem; the directions were simple and clear. The head unit would not pair on the first try, but paired smoothly on the second attempt. It only took about a minute after that for my phone and the head unit to find each other Now whenever I get on the car, my phone connects immediately and automatically. All basic functions work--Map, Phone, Android Apps--bit I haven't tried streaming services yet. The most important thing for me was Maps, and that's bulletproof. If you want to see if your older audio system can deal with wireless Android for Auto, this is a very good place to start.
