What more can I say? This product was only a few hundred dollars and was worth every penny. The finished product looks amazing. The installation process is as simple is it can get. If you know how to change a light bulb, you shouldn’t have any problems putting this unit in.The screen is very colorful and vivid, the operating system runs smooth for the most part, and the sound quality was surprisingly good. Overall, the only issue I had was me getting a little jealous because I installed this in my daughter’s car and didn’t get one for myself but I’m going to fix that very soon!

Purchased to update 2015 Jeep Patriot. Works as described, dash install took about 35 minutes. Camera install took me a few hours to remove trim panels, ID brake wires, route wires to dash, reinstall trim panels. Sound Quality is fine, came with bass boosted and sounded much better with enhancements turned off.Does have Sat radio input, but wasn't going to pay for that service anyway. Plugs on the back of unit didn't exactly match the provided install guide, but it's close and they only fit one way so that wasn't an issue.I used Posi-tap connections to tap into the brake wires (easier for me than T-taps). I believe the white with light green wire was the brake positive. I mounted the camera to the right (passenger) side of the plate. If you remove the facia piece that has the lift gate handle (2 bolts and 2 plastic connectors) you'll see that there are wires in the way on the left side, and a pre-made hole that is helpful on the right side for routing camera wires). I also used a posi-tap connector to add the camera power wire to the back of the "deck" wire that was two over from the ground wire (was pink on my unit). Back up camera works great for me.Android auto was a bit laggy playing music, but wireless Apple car-play has been perfect.The unit doesn't dim nearly enough when the lights are activated, so I downloaded an app called Screen and Notification Dimmer that does the job well enough.Would be nice to have a volume knob, but far from a deal braker.Overall, an amazing value and I would purchase again. Install super easy and make the dash look quite modern.

Update: Please read my whole review. You will be glad you did. So let's start with the bad. Wireless carplay and andriod auto does not work. And I mean at all. Hotspot turns its self on and off all by itself. Disconnecting you in the process. DSP sound system with independent volume controls. Where to begin on this one. They do not exist. And don't even waste your time asking the tech person for help on this one because they do not have the first clue what a DSP sound system is or what it is supposed to be able to do. For those of you who are not familiar with what it does here is the short version. A DSP will have different channels 1 through 4 on a basic 8 or more on your more complex. Each channel is where a speaker connects to. Front left, front right, rear left, rear right, etc. With a DSP controller you can select each channel and set a starting volume point, the frequency that will run to the speaker the decibel levels, etc. In short a DSP is a digital crossover so you can dial in each speaker. Just like it shows in the sellers pictures. But it is not an option there are no ways to adjust it appears the icon has been just labeled DSP with a few sound week selections for jazz techno Etc. And the best feature of this head unit is that no matter how hard you try to log into your Google account so you could go to Google Play and download better apps that will do what you want it constantly times out and you can't connect so you can also not download or add any apps impossible when you cannot log into a Google account so you could actually reach the Play Store. The back of camera does work with a great picture that is about the only thing this head unit has going for it. Here is the update. After a lot of research while waiting on the seller to make good on their empty promises which was a stall tactic to get the 30 day returned policy to expire I discovered this. And I was only able to do that by translating Chinese to English so I can read all the specs. When buying these andriod head units pay very close attention to the system platform or the chipset for ac8227L or 8227L which is your processor. In China that processor is a very generic and is very cheap and that is why they use them. To make a product that looks good but can not handle any andriod operating systems that is higher then andriod 7. Andriod 8 which is the minimum that a product must have to work with andriod auto or Apple carplay. That is why every with 4 ghz of ram they are very slow and sluggish. This one is actually running andriod 8. The person who made it hack the registry files to make it say 13. The manufacturer of the chips state the maximum for the chip is andriod 7 which they don't recommend. They are most certainly not running 10 or above. By download an andriod updating software you can get the true operating system to show and they are running 8. It is also why the andriod system update has been forcefully been removed. Because update to the latest version of andriod would brick the head unit. I have tried 4 of these head units and they have all had the same issues. Will give an update when my new head unit arrives which uses a processor that can actually have andriod 10 or above installed on it.and yes they are out the it is just not available for under $200.00 because those processor are 3 times the cost. As they say you get what you pay for.

The system is easy to install if you don’t need the camera. However, if you do then the complexity does increase. Mostly the issue is navigating through the car moldings to feed your cables from the back to the front. Not terribly complicated but definitely time consuming.The big problem comes when all is done and installed and you go to test. For me the camera worked fine, put the car in reverse and the camera turns on. Great. However, doing a longer test I notice the camera turns off randomly after a few seconds.**edit** 10/28/23. I was able to chat with tech support. I determined that I have an incorrect camera install. It turns out that the wire that is connected to the back of the device is the power source for the camera. At another point the instructions say to connect the positive wire to the reverse light. That is not correct. Connecting the wire is what caused my issues.**edit** 1/21/24. Forgot to update that the camera is slow and laggy and is actually dangerous. I use it to initially see there is no one there then just turn my head.

All was well until I realized the far right of screen was unresponsive. Returned it within hours of it being delivered. Decent screen and audio quality, shame it was not functioning correctly.
