Review for HuaXunTai 48V/ 5A power supply: I'm using this power supply for a mini-amplifier. It's working well, and I haven't had any issues with noise or overheating. I like that it has an LED indicator to let you see that it's on- I wish it had a power switch as well, but that isn't something most people will use anyway. I haven't had this long: I'll update this review if I should run into problems.

I got this power supply to replace my damaged original unit for the Fosi Audio ZA3 D-Class amplifier. This power brick is slightly larger and heavier than the original, often indicating higher quality. Performance-wise, it works just as well, and I might even say there’s a bit more punch with this PSU.The DC connector is identical to the original. The main difference is that this one has a 3-prong AC cable with a ground wire, which is a safety bonus.If you’re replacing your old PSU or upgrading from 32V to 48V 5A, this is a better choice than Fosi’s own power supply. It seems more robustly built, and for the same price, it offers better value.

I had planned to use this as the power supply for a small audio amplifier as it is rated in the range of permissible voltage & current required by the amplifier. Unfortunately this power supply caused an enormous amount of high frequency noise that was very loud in the audio output from the amp so it was unusable. I can’t believe it would pass EMC emissions regulations based on what I experienced but possibly my unit was defective. I can’t recommend this product based on my experience.

I overspecced this power adapter because you’re never sure if these will live up to their rated capacity. So far, I have no complaints. I’m using this to drive a TPA3116 amp into a 150W 8ohm PA speaker, and I can’t really run it past 75% of full volume without blasting the entire cup-de-sac anyway. For as long as I’ve run it, this PSU stays cool and AFAIK doesn’t contribute any additional noise. If you were to run this thing close to its limits then I don’t know what the result would be, but for an average home theater it’s plenty of juice.

This is a solid value for a 48V5A power supply that is already packaged so you don't have to connect some wires and apply the end power plug. I have it used in an Aiyima A07 Pro, a popular class D speaker amplifier. It uses up to 48V power supplies which can drive volume on almost any speakers. I'm pushing some ELAC Debut B6.2's and no issues with this power supply. Running off my phone max volume off that, I can get great volume of sound barely turning the power knob a quarter of the way and it still sounding very clear at lower volumes. The brick itself is only a bit bigger than the 36V6A PSU that the amplifier came with and I've had it running with some music for a couple hours now and it's not getting very hot. There's no buzzing sound sound from the power brickWonderful power supply

This power supply seem well built. It's comparatively large. I connected it to a buck converter controller to use as variable power supply. So far it seems good, voltage is consistent. I didn't have chance to test full load yet. If I see any issue, I will update it here.
