More bits than you'll ever need!

I have been using these for over a month now. It has a wide range of accessories. The case is a good addition. I recommend this product.

As far a rotary accessories goes, this kit has just about everything needed for most jobs and the case it comes in is compact and well organized. The only downside and the reason why is lost a star is that there is nothing here to indicate what any of it is or how it is to be used. As an example, along the bottom there are 6 plastic containers. Three of them contain what appear to be sanding disks, two or them have what looks like cutting disks, and the last one has some type of polishing compound but not a single one of them is marked as to what it contains. The sanding disks have a letter on each disk but what does that letter even mean and how exactly do you use them? It does have a list of contents on the back but that is nothing more than a text description that doesn't show what is what. Probably not a big deal for people that already use a lot of these items and already know what they are but for those that are just getting started or haven't used some of these items in the past, the shear volume without explanation can get confusing.

Impressions:-This is a good value for a very nice, very high quality rotary device accessory set with a large quantity of 476 total items in the set. It’s a well thought out set with a good variety of high quality items.-The case is one of the nicest cases I’ve ever seen or used for this style of accessories, you can easily see all the items in the case due to how well it’s laid out.Pros:-Good value for the quality, quantity and how well thought out the set is.-Good quality on the items and the case.-Well thought out set with a good variety of accessories. The cover case doors are clear so you can see what’s in it. It’s made out of a sturdy plastic and is very well made. It opens and closes easily and securely in a two door style. (But do see the tip below about how to open it when you first get it.)There is a space for each item and it utilizes folding interior holders to hold some of the items. The space planning and arrangement inside the case was extremely well though out, and it makes it very easy to use and find the item you need. The case also has a fold down top carrying handle as well. Note that the case is a bit large due to all it holds and to how they arranged it to be easy to see and find all the items in the set.Case Size: (when fully closed)-10 ¼” inches tall (from base to top, not including the handle)-8 2/3” inches wide (across)-2 1/3” inches depth (front to back of the case)Cons:-No Issues.Tips:-Be careful when opening it:Be sure to be careful when you first get it and try to open the case doors. There is a plastic tie securing it shut that you have to carefully remove before you open it for the first time. If you try to open it with the tie still on it, it can’t be opened and trying to pull it open could cause an issue. I had to use scissors to remove it so I could open it. Look and see if you need to do this before you try to open it for the first time.-Pictures show what’s in the set:You may want to refer and look closely at the listing details and pictures as they show all that’s in the set and the wide variety of accessories in it. You may want to print, save or refer to them. Note that the case does have a label on it as well on the back that shows what’s in the set as well.Thoughts:-No rotary device comes with it. This is just an accessory set for your own compatible powered rotary device, no powered rotary device comes with it. Be sure your device is compatible with it, it should work well with most standard devices.

I'm always put off when I see an accessory kits comes with a gazillion bits and pieces. Experience has shown that many of these pieces either are not truly going to be used or are of such little utility that it's not fair to compare them to the more substantial pieces. In this case, the majority of pieces are variations on bits of sandpaper. Some are rolled into a drum, some in other forms, but when you could the number of hard consumable grinding wheels and points, and the number and variety of tooling, you end up with a lot less than you may have expected.As for quality, I see all the contents of being of Harbor Freight quality.What's interesting is that the storage box is designed for the mix of tooling and supplies provided. They intentionally put a kit of items like this together, and it unfolds and folds up nicely. Granted, if you drop the box it'll probably crack, but its stacking allows for an overall smaller size.So I guess it comes down to price. If you want a general set of accessories for your handheld rotary tool, you may end up choosing this one. Consider looking for coupons, discounts, and sales, though, because it'll always be the same product that gives you only general purpose assistance rather than a unique tool for that special project.
