About this item

  • 【Widely Applicable】: The drum sander kit can be used in various types of grinding work, like metal wood, stone sanding, suitable for polishing the surface of wooden furniture to make it smooth, removing rust from metal objects, and making crafts.
  • 【Material】: With thickness of the base belt, the sanding band can be not easy to break, and the surface grit distribution is uniform, which shows good sanding effect. High-quality rubber and metal make the mandrel tool abrasion-resistant and durable, meeting long-term needs.

I read some of the bad reviews, but after ordering this set I found it to be a good set. Everything is as described and functioned as you would expect for this type of set. Honestly, I would purchase again.

Prefer these sanding drums over the Dremel brand (at a much more reasonable price). These drums don’t have the seam on them as the original brand drums have. The rubber bit that you mount them on has a Phillips head screw rather than a slotted screw which makes it much easier to tighten. Be aware that they come in a medium to fine grit in this assortment… would buy some in a course grit too if available. They wear well and I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Sanding delicate coner edges or specific area will not work with this rotary sand attachment. The rotary pin roller is not well-fitted with the sand paper. The sand paper will move around while sanding.- Maybe consider some sort of adhesive in between the black part of roller and sand paper.

A lot of sanding drums, the quality is low so they shred quickly. Holding drums are satisfactory. Good for light project

Use it for sanding those hard to get too places which in my case have lots of curves. They don’t last all that long so good to have plenty of them

Getting so many sanding drums for this price is cool. Currently in the process of using all of the drum mandrels to test them, because I had one that came a little beat up, and didn't keep a good hold on the sand paper, no matter the tightness of the bolt. And I had another mandrel that was off balance. The rubber part of the drum mandrels on all of the mandrels included in this package are not perfect, and contain imperfections, like uneven surface, and deterioration, in general. The terminals on the mandrel shanks are also uneven, on average. Also, the durability of the 240 grit is pretty low compared to the other grits in this package. The sand paper went bald way more quickly than I expected, and had a lifetime of about 1/2 an official Dremel 240 grit sanding drum.So... I'm still going to use the sanding drums. But I am going to be inspecting the mandrels closely; because I don't want to destroy what I'm working on, or the tool I'm using to work with. This review is based on TWO ORDERS of this item.

First of all i deburr for a living. I use these for hard to reach areas where i have to blend material. These are not ment to be used with a hig speed dremel. I use a micro die grinder which doesnt spin too fast but just enough to do its job. If you use a dremel or something stronger ofcourse they will fall apart. I used them on my dremel and they worked well on the low speed. Higher than that they fall apart.I havent had any complaints they last almost the same as the dremel ones that came in my dremel kit, they are not high quality but for 12 dollars they do its job and ive been buying these for a while.

Wasn't sure about buying these because the reviews were all over the place. If you properly load them on the mandrel and use even, light pressure, they work well. I like having the two different sizes and the multiple grits. Was quickly able to hog out and then refine my materials. Good product and would buy again. I use these as woodcarver, woodworker.

Best sanding drums for the price and they work wet or dry. I used these to start the polishing process on quartz. I love them all the way around, I just wish y'all would make them in the higher (800 to 8000) grits so I wouldn't have to take the time to make my own. Either way though, I would highly recommend this to anyone and I will definitely buy again soon =)

Great set, multiple grits. All the others I have seen were very corse grits, I use this on plastic to get me close to polishing. But caution, the 600 grit will gum up if you hold it. So keep it moving. The other options like gritted rubber bits cost too much and don’t get fine at all.

It's hard to mess up sandpaper, these don't seem to last as long as the Dremel brand ones, but there's enough of them and the price is low enough that it doesn't really matter
