All I needed for my guitar care!

At this price I wasn’t expecting StewMac level quality tools. The action level gauge and radius gauges are nice. The allen keys don’t fit anything on a vintage-style strat. The string winder broke on first use. The fretboard protectors and files look good, but I haven’t used them yet.Overall a decent purchase for setting up my guitars once a year or as needed.
Très bien

I just received the kit and have not used on my guitar project yet. For the price paid, I think it is great. Probably not the most durable of tools - but adequate for an occasional fret adjustment, etc. I’ve supplemented the kit with a few additional tools to do more things. If you are a pro luthier - look elsewhere. But… for the occasional amateur repair, the kit looks to be adequate.

Does not come with stainless steel fret ruler.
Not worth it

I was disapointed, the tools were covered in some kind if oil from the factory, they are badly crafted and the action ruler (which was the part I manly bought the kit for) was in cheap cardboard and didn't show the same informations as in the pictures. Save your money to buy individual tools instead.

For the price it’s ok that the parts are cheap but they should at least be usable and clean. Some of the parts are covered in oil (maybe machine oil?). I don’t mean a little streak, I mean COVERED in clear maybe milky oil. All of the parts are cheap quality, some of the parts are usable and others are not.For example the size of Allen wrench I needed on my bridge was not included (that should be a basic thing included in a kit). The wire cutter was very bad but kind of worked.I don’t really trust the measurements.Overall I would not recommend this kit, I know it’s Amazon recommended, it’s cheap, and it looks like a bunch of stuff is included and all this makes it look very desirable on the surface. However if you are interested in this kit, that means you are probably someone who likes to maintain and fix their own things, and if that’s true you probably value tools. In this case spend the money and purchase the tools individually so you get exactly what you need at the quality you want. For me this kit was a learning experience, I thought I would pass on what I learned.

I decided to try my hand at light guitar maintenance. Nothing crazy, but I wanted to learn how to do a simple fret polish, intonation and action adjustments etc. This is a great kit for a beginner like me, and I would imagine someone more advanced could certainly benefit from this.My 15+ year old electric guitar has smooth frets again. I fixed a nagging intonation problem, and set the action exactly where I want it. The frets and fretboard on my 17 year old acoustic look and feel brand new after a polish and thorough oiling All without paying a guitar tech $100-150. Will I still use guitar techs for big jobs? You bet! I’m a novice. But this already saved me money and let me learn a few new skills.(I also purchased fret polish and fret oil separately)
