1.5 years if battling this stupid thermostat housing, I have finally thrown it in the trash can. After the second time draining the truck I finally noticed that this was machined wrong. Sanded it down stuck it back on and about 2 months later it started again. Drained it again and replaced the thermostat yet again. Cleaned everything real good stick it back on and after a few weeks it started having a small leak again. Finally last weekend I took it off and threw sealant on it. Immediately started leaking again.Don’t be a me. Don’t by this trash and save your self a ton of money and frustration. Embarrassed to say I even messed with it that long.Stop selling this!!

Thermostat housing size is larger on the original LS3 and the bolt pattern is wider on the LS3 than it is on this Thermostat Housing.My bad....but dont buy for LS3 as you'll need a larger part with the correct bolt pattern and housing size.

not an easy installation, it will leak even with a brand new thermostat as it seems the thermostat doesnt fit exactly, had to fiddle around with it and eventually added some silicon sealer to prevent it from leaking.but its a good option for a custom build.

This is a horrible product and the thermostat didn’t even fit my engine. This thing leaked from day one. I threw it away. Don’t buy it.

Have this on my ls swapped 64 C10, only have done avout a 10 minute warm up on motor but o have no leaks out of this.
