I purchased this in December 2024. My wife remarked how loud the dryer sounded. After 2 months, the dryer would run some and shutdown due to overworking the motor. Had to wait until the dryer motor reset and then run it again until it shutdown. Took apart the dryer and rollers would barely turn. Took off the rollers and there was a gummy substance on all 4 roller shafts. Cleaned up the shafts and have ordered Whirlpool OEM rollers. I would recommend not to buy these. Btw…the triangle poly roller clips break easily

These wheels don't seem as high quality as the ones I'm replacing but they are newer. I just put a new one on and its noisier than the old one, but spins more easily. I'm wondering if the shaft I put the wheel on is damaged making it rattly or if it's a less steady wheel... It's hard to say I'm not a technician or anything. We replaced the pulley and were glad they had a pulley with the arm attached in the kit because the shaft on our pully arm was destroyed in the last days of the dryer bouncing around with a broken pulley. For now, it seems satisfactory, we will see how long the dryer's life is extended by these replacement parts. So glad this is available!

This repair kit worked perfect for my Maytag dryer. Dryer is 4 years old. Be aware when you remove the top of the dryer, you'll find razor sharp edges on the sides ,front and back panel. I put duct tape on the edges while doing the repair. Repair took me 45 minutes. I've done it before. If this is your first time replacing the belt, rollers and pulley, take a picture of how the belt is on the bottom pulley before removing it. Can be tricky if you don't. Good luck. YouTube videos will help you out.

This is a great alternative to Maytag parts. Saved me money and just as good as original parts. Easy to install and fixed my squealing dryer.

The kit came everything i needed, I wasn't planning on replacing everything but since I had it, everything fit , just like the old parts did , and the belt is a good quality, now the dryer spins just like when it was new

The belt that spins the dryer broke and so I decided to get this kit and fix it myself. It looks complicated but I only used a screw driver and a couple wrenches. I never really did anything like it so I just watched a couple YouTube videos. Just typed in the problem and the dryer make and model to get the info on what to do. Make sure the parts you order are the right fit for your model or you’ll get frustrated and it won’t work. I probably saved 2 or 3 hundred on a service call and since it was already broken I didn’t have much to lose. I also used a shop vac and cleaned 10 years worth of old hair and lint that accumulated inside. I didn’t end up using the wheels because it was more work and mine were still in good shape. Just lubricated them. I was surprised to see how basic they are inside and most of the brands and models are all the same.

Relatively easy install - the hardest part was getting the belt back on the drum, but once I figured it out - all went well. No more squeaking dryer!! Been on for 3 days now - so I cannot comment on the longevity of the replacement parts. Seemed to be quality rollers / idler pulley. Did NOT use the belt that came with the kit, will save it for later! Would recommend this kit for the MEDB765FW0 Maytag.****Edit - rollers started making noise again after 9 months of use. Bought another set to replace them....
