Please check the tailgate width (at least 51") and tail box height (up to 42" at most) of your vehicle before placing order. When lock the ladder to the tailgate, if your tailgate width is less than 53 inches, you need to remove the extended 2" steel pipe. If you don't use the extended 2" steel pipe, you just need to make sure the tailgate width is not less than 51 inches. Note: Drill is needed during installation.

Either the truck comes with a built in step on the tailgate or it doesn’t.. Having had the real deal on my last truck makes this thing a joke. The hand rail is flimsy. The ladder itself is sturdy but way to narrow. Its not safe in my opinion. My next truck will have a factory step.

We go camping all the time and have wood loaded. This is perfect for us climbing up in truck bed and so much easier than having a stool or something to climb on

It is wobbly right out of the box! Any sane person would not trust this ladder to hold them.

I used it to get up in the bed, but it was not stable enough, it wobbles and flimsy.
