The AC cord with this unit is for 220 volt - not 110. I think this unit was returned from another country and ended up being shipped to me (used product). I returned it because it won't work.

I bought the 4091C version with the continuous range for the test frequency. It performs as expected. The only complaint about it is the awkward method to input numerical values. There is no auto-advancement for the cursor position. Other than that, I highly recommend that you try this instrument which offers great value for the price.

I'm impressed with the LCR meter's ability to accurately read very small value caps, inductors and resistors. The display is very easy to read. The component auto-sensing and scaling is fast. If you didn't have a user manual you could easily navigate the controls and settings of this meter.

I gave this to my friend who repairs electronics as I knew she had been looking for an LCR meter. She said what mattered the most to her is how accurate the RuoShui 4090 Digital LCR Meter is.

Will mainly use this to test the impedance of various combinations of resistors, capacitors and inductors.

I have a good supply of capacitors I use for various repairs up to about 2200uf, I pulled out a bunch and tested it on this after a quick open cal. Everything I tested was within 10% of rated, so I'm happy with both my capacitor stock and this LCR meter. If you want to repair electronics, there are 4 main pieces of equipment you need...a multimeter, an oscilloscope, a signal generator, and an LCR meter. There isn't much you can't do without those 4 items (and a good soldering iron). This is a very well functioning piece of that puzzle and it works great. The screen is easy to see, it's fast and responsive...I really have no complaints. It tested every cap I had with no problems. If you're just getting started in electronics repair, being able troubleshoot inductors and capacitors is a vital part of what you do. This is a fantastic piece of equipment to get you there, without spending an arm and a leg. 5 stars.

Like the beefy leads with plier style grip. Measurements are repeatable. Do wish frequency could go down to 50 or 60 Hz -- very common need. Have been using in audio range.
