This item does not fit my Fire Sense patio heater and is not returnable due to some restriction about "hazardous materials" even though I have never tried to connect it. This is the most disappointing product I have bought from Amazon in the past 10 years.Addendum:After contacting the vendor they issued me a full refund of the purchase price and tax although I had to pay the shipping costs on the return since Amazon would not authorize a free return because of the HAZMAT policy that they enforce.

After purchasing two non-functional replacement burners for my Amazon Basics pyramidal patio heater, I took a chance on this burner. It is nearly twice as expensive as the others but, in this case, you actually get what you pay for. It's an exact replacement part for my heater. The flame fills the glass tube of the heater and creates heat (well, as much as a pyramidal heater can produce). Hopefully, it will last as long as the previous burner did (5+ years). I'm very happy with the ease of installation and the performance of this burner. Shipping was quick with Prime.

My Hyland Patio Heater burner went bad after only a few years use. It was either find the right replacement or get a whole new patio heater. I ordered a replacement from another vendor that displayed a picture and description that looked and sounded like the right replacement. Although it fit, the flame only went up the glass tube about one-third of the way. I returned that one and continued searching. I finally came across this one, and although it cost more money than I wanted to spend, this one was the right replacement. It fit my Hyland unit perfectly and the flame went all the way to the top of the glass tube as expected. I've attached the front page of my Hiland manual for your reference if you are having the same product search challenges as I had. Hope this helps.

I have a few Hiland square (4-sided) pyramid glass tube patio heaters and one needed a new six hole glass tube burner assembly (SGT-BURNER-WL). Looked around everywhere and many websites list replacement parts but no one ever has them in stock. Finally I called AZ Patio heaters and the tech told me the 6 hole version is discontinued but the 3 hole version will work if I drill holes in the right places. Finally I found this replacement part by Golden Flame. I looked at the photos carefully and could see it has the six hole pattern that fits my patio heater mounting pattern. I had never heard of the Golden Flame brand so I was concerned about the quality, especially for something that will control a fire directly next to my house. I ordered it and it arrived quickly, appears to be a very study well made product. I installed it easily (no sheet metal drilling required) and it works perfectly. This part is highly recommended if you are looking for a replacement part for SGT-BURNER-WL (Glass Tube Burner for Square Heater 6 Bolt).

Supply chain issues must have caused this replacement parts price to go 2x - couldn’t find it anywhere for almost a year then it came back at 2x the price - it works great just wish somebody could make it for a reasonable price

The fire tower tipped over last year. After the tip, it was very difficult to light. I bought the replacement early this spring and for this entire season, was a breeze to light. It was an easy replacement that took less than 15 minutes and only a few tools.
