This was the correct heater element for my F&P DD24 2-drawer dishwasher. I couldn’t find any good replacement video for this part, so had to wing some of it. Start with removing the trays, spinning spray arm, and the pump from the top side. Next, find 2 videos on YouTube of how to remove the front panel (do this next) and then how to release the drawer slides (do this third). From there, turn the drawer on its side and remove the clear plastic plate that covers the wires, etc. Take photos of how everything is connected now. Next pop out the black, kidney-shaped cover that holds a bunch of wires in. Disconnect the various wires and the drain tube. You can now unscrew the flange that holds the motor assembly in. The rigid plastic drain connector is just a friction fit- pull slowly but firmly. Install the new o-rings and gaskets, then reassemble everything in reverse order. You need almost no tools - a pair of pliers to pop out the front panel fasteners and a flat head screwdriver to compress the friction clips holding the clear plastic plate on. Took about 20 mins to swap out the heater.

Genuine Fisher & Paykle parts kit. Includes the heater, required seals, and a recommended shim. It goes in a tough location to service. You need to remove the drawer, and turn it upside down to work on it. Replacement works fine since I installed it. I think if the heating element was a wire instead of printed, like a automobile rear window defroster grid, it would last longer, but who knows?

I have purchased two of these, but the second one burnt out after only one year's use (see photo of short).
