The idea is great but I find that they’re too cumbersome to apply easily. Only usable for loosely woven or web type material. It would be much more practical to use if it was metal and 2 separate pieces. Price is acceptable for what it is. I wish now that I hadn’t bought the bigger package though since I find that I’m not going to be able to use it for the multiple projects I had in mind

Great idea but they do not work well. They are very difficult to get through fabric. There are several little plastic teeth, several of them bend out of position when closing to secure them. Do not waste your money. I cannot recommend these.

Great invention! The teeth are a bit too flexible and bend when trying to line them up to the holes. But… these worked great in repairing my shade cloth when it ripped during an heavy snow and ice storm. I would buy more if I ever need more.

A little difficult putting them on the shade but once they are on, they are on. The wind has tested the clips thoroughly and they haven't budged. I'd buy them again.

expected. Bought these gadgets to connect two sunshades to provide the shade cover we were requiring during the intense high desert summers and hold up to the Sierra zephyr winds in the afternoon; these are performing better than expected. There was a bit of a trick to figuring them out, but in the end we got there and met our goal.

After several tries they work great. First timers with damage a few. The pins are very flimsy. If you don’t align them with the holes, they will bend and become unusable. You have to see closely that the pins are parallel to the holes before closing. One you bend to close you need pliers to close completely. You should hear a snap. These come with no instructions.

2 nos got damaged while I fixed 13 nos out of 20 nos ordered, expected better quality.It was easy to fix and was of exact size as excepted.

The plastic is very soft, which limits the application to very thin, very porous material, otherwise the plastic simply bends, doesn't penetrate the material, and doesn't work.

Holds shade cloth on secure, none have come loose yet in any weather. Sometimes they can be a bit difficult to snap shut as you have to make sure the holes and pins align. Good product.

These installed easily on my large shade cloth although some did need assistance to close. I have the edge of my shade cloth folded over and am using these in pairs to spread out the pressure which means that I used most of the 40 pieces on an approximately 30x15 shade cloth (5 15' panels of shade cloth sewn together). We've had some winds come through and nothing's popped loose or torn through. The locking piece in the middle holds the clips well and is still easy enough to release if the clip needs to removed / relocated.
