There is a decent amount of threaded inserts in this set. More than others I have had before. This includes two different lengths of bolts which helps with various thicknesses of table leg bases. I make live edge furniture in my wood shop so these are handy to have on hand at all times.This also has everything you need included the two hex wrenches and a drill bit.The bolts thread into the inserts easily.The price is good for what you get.

If you work with wood sooner or later you'll need to use inserts. Whether it's a leg for a table that will need to be able to be removed or something else where a glue joint just isn't going to work. Not all inserts are equal. Some of the ones I have used had a slot cut in them so you could screw them in with a large slotted screwdriver. These use a hex key. That means you can drive them in with a drill much easier. I tend to put a thin layer of epoxy on the insert with some aluminum tape on the open end to keep any glue getting on the internal threads so they are very unlikely to come out.This is a nice set. There's enough inserts to do a couple of projects and the correct sized drill bit. No guessing if you've made the hole too big or small. Just be careful. The point on a brad point bit can poke it's way through the top side if the wood isn't think enough. The screws are nice but you may find they are too long for your application. But being a standard 1/4-20 pitch finding ones the correct length will be easy.
