FlareSeal is an engineered copper gasket with a special multi-ring design on the flare surface. The entire copper base metal is coated with a thread lock coating. The combination of a multi-ring flare seal and the coating provide an easy clip on solution that compensates for scratches in the sealing surface and other alignment imperfections between the male and female flare. FlareSeal is available in several combinations that best fits your needs. Our Mini-Split Packs are perfect for the easy leak free ductless mini split installation. Our sizes are avaialble in 10 packs or in larger quantity sizes. We even have a Variety Pack combination of 60 seals in a locking container perfect for your tool box. The FlareSeal Schrader-Seal is the perfect solution for eliminating leaks on an schrader valve. The 1/4" FlareSeal clips on the fitting and the Brass Flare Cap secures the connection creating a crush seal eliminating all leaks, even stops the leaks for leaking schrader core. FlareSeal can even be used to stop an existing flare connection leak. It is so valuable, no flare connection should go without FlareSeal both new and existing. Perfect for Pilot Lines, Evaporator Pressure Regulators, Schrader Valves, Thermostatic Expansion Valves, Oil Filters, Filter Driers, HVAC Ductless Mini-Splits, LP Gas Lines

A real timesaver! After trying half a dozen times to get the flare right my connection kept leaking. I grabbed these and it worked right away! They seem pricey for just a few gaskets but compared to the hours of time you save it is a bargain.

For me this is a last solution. My application was at low pressure and not toxic.

This product works great when the unit flare on the lineset is scratched or not sealing properly. it provides a gasket to seal the tiny leaks. we have used it several times and always fixed the issue.

The seal worked like a charm. I had a small leak on the low pressure connection on my AC condenser and this product eliminated it. BUT I only received 5 seals in the "10 pack" that was shipped to me. Since these things cost almost $5 a piece, I'm a little upset to be shorted half of what I ordered.

Had a couple of flare leaks on a Mini split that would just not seal completely. They were fine under vaccum but had a small leak under pressure. Tried everything to get it to seal but nothing worked. Bought these as a final option and they worked great. No more leaks. The only issue I ran into was they didn't fit as easily on some elbows I bought from Lowes but got them to work.My guess is that people that these didn't work for may have not torqued properly.

Would recommend using these as an added protector in your flare lines. I installed them on the lines to our mini split during installation (after the first time went south) these things saved me!

I've used Ceco seals like these on flare fittings many times before on industrial lines and they work great. These seals are to big to fit in standard Minisplit line sets. I tried to use one and it cause the actual flare on the line to fail while torquing. Just use nylog blue. WASTE OF MONEY, CAUSED HOURS OF EXTRA WORK TO REPAIR

Tried 3x to get a proper vacuum on cheep Chinese line-sets didn't help. Probably because the line-sets we're a bit 2 thin. Had to get an expert who installed good line-sets and welded the connectors he said they never use them.

I'd really have liked it if they'd have labeled the little zip loc bags inside the container, as many sizes (eg 3/8 and 1/2) look very similar, and once you've used some up, you may not be sure which ones you have left, so you find yourself using trial and error to figure it out.

I used these as a precaution, and they appear to have done the job in providing the seal between the two copper ends.Hope it lasts and proves worth its price as they appear to be slightly overpriced for the material amount being supplied.

I don't know what's so special about these to be so expensive but they're probably the best idea to prevent disastrous leaks.
