Instead of cutting wires to extend the connector, all I did bought the extension and made it much easier to just connect each terminal and save time.

Great extension for my trailer electrical wiring connection. It is well made and heavy duty. The hitch on my Rav4 was not factory installed, i purchased it and installed it. The wiring that came with the hitch was a little too short to connect to two of my trailers and this extension fixed that problem. Nice product, works great.

Hacked it up to run into the body hole in my Dodge Magnum which allows me to tuck it easily up above the hitch where it is protected. Easy pulled out, and uncoils with ease,

This functions perfectly. Because the length is not correct for what I purchased it for is not the fault of the product. Fortunately, I have a different application for it that while is just fine, this will be an unexpected bonus addition. I will order this (in longer lengths, if available) when I can find the correct lengths for my applications. I'll order one for every vehicle, trailer combination if I can find the correct lengths. It's great for additional clearance in case of tight turns even if your current connection is OK. There's no such thing as flexible clearance. (Beats pulling wires out of connectors or splices or...you get the idea.) This is a good idea! (Even if you only install it as a precautionary buffer between existing connections.)

Plugged in and worked with no problems. The coil is nice because it keeps it up and away from road stuff snagging it
