Seems to be made well enough but this isn’t tall enough to safely get you aboard a deep v hull. Save yourself the headache of having to return this unless you have a bay boat or similar freeboard.

The design of these steps is spot-on. They feel secure and have just the right amount of grip, even in wet conditions. I appreciate the flexibility of the handle—you can put it wherever you feel it’s needed most. Installation was quick, and everything fit perfectly on my trailer. It’s been a great addition to my setup.

As someone who’s not as nimble as I used to be, these steps have been a lifesaver. They’re sturdy, and the anti-slip material really gives me confidence. The handle placement option is a big bonus—I can adjust it to suit my needs. Setting it up wasn’t hard at all, and it’s made using my boat trailer so much easier.

This is a preliminary review as my boat is currently in a slip for the summer and so, while I've inspected and assembled these stairs, I have not had a chance to try them out "in action"--that is, at the ramp or with the boat. I've also removed them from my trailer as I don't want to learn that I put them in the wrong place when I'm loading my boat. If anything changes my mind after I've brought my boat in for the season and reinstalled the steps, I'll update my review.This not my first set of bow steps--the first was a complete disaster and remains in a box in my garage. These stairs are almost the same "idea" but substantially improved on the following factors:1) the bad stairs were a single unit welded together and those welds failed under the weight of an average adult. These stairs are not welded together--you have to bolt on the steps to the center support unit and are given a number of options in terms of the angle at which you do them. It's extra work, but everything feels very sturdy.2) the bad stairs (and others I've looked at), were only able to be mounted on one side of the trailer, which didn't work for me due to the location of my spare tire and the fact that I have a folding tongue. These have the option of mounting on the left side, right side, or in the center depending on what works best for your particular trailer and boat. Again, you are able to angle the stairs so that you can take a "straight" approach to them even though they are mounted on the side.The stairs come well packaged and with a single page of instructions that has a few wonky English translations. While I could have used a little-more hand-holding on assembly, there aren't too many parts here and I was able to figure it out.

I got this for my husband! His other boat trailer steps we're very flimsy and they would constantly Bend downward anytime he stepped on them. These are 100% better! They came super well packed and had everything that they were supposed to have in the box. The instructions were easy to read and my husband was familiar with what he was doing so it took him no time to get this installed and swapped out with the old ones. The quality of this one is absolutely amazing. He can actually step up on there without worrying about breaking it. It functions perfectly as it should and is very heavy duty for what it is. The price is absolutely out of this world and I'm Blown Away that it could be this nice for such a great price! Got to give it a solid 10/10! If you are thinking about it definitely don't hesitate! It's worth the money! My husband loves it and it definitely has it his seal of approval.

The lower step bends all the way down when you step on it! Waste of money don’t buy!
