I normally do more research before making any online purchase but my old sandbags for my boat cover had deteriorated to the point where I needed something quick. I bought the first thing that popped up and now wish I had spent more time looking. That's on me.What holds the sand in these sandbags is an included clear plastic ziplock baggie - and a thin one at that. You add your own sand (I was also slightly surprised at that since my old bags were factory-sewed with sand inside) to the plastic baggie, put that in the pouch with a velcro closure, and then attach an included plastic clip with a tiny triangular carabiner.Do they function? Yes. For how long? Probably not very. When these fail I will find something better. To be honest, the seller reached when my review first went live and that is a good sign, so I bumped the review up a star.

Worked perfect for holding a small tarp over my pool floats. I bought small cement patio blocks for weight instead of sand.

Easy to attach to boat cover. I have 7 on a24ft pontoon boat. The cover hasn’t moved. They are very durable.

These bags worked better than I expected. I use to tie the cover to the trailer with ropes. Now the boat is on a lift and with these weighted bags the cover fits like a glove. I highly recommend this product

Just as described, cover is now tight without having to use straps as I keep in on a lift with no place to tie straps to.

We bought these to hold down a tarp but used them to steady our Christmas tree

easy to add sand in the baggies and insert them into these bags, included clips and carabiners. Have them holding down my wood pile cover

You will need to buy better gallon zip bags. The ones that come with are extremely thin and dont seal well.
