I got these to use as curtain rod holders. Overall, they work but they aren’t particularly fabulous or anything.They are fairly lightweight, which is a positive or negative depending on the intended purpose for these holders. The finish is fine - they are simply black.I used better anchors than what came with the holders which I think is a good idea for everyone. If you are constantly moving whatever the holders are holding, then you are constantly moving the holders. Wouldn’t be great if they ripped out of the wall.The two things that annoy me about these are:1. The screws inside the circles that are meant to hold a rod in place are too short to actually do anything. You would need to replace the screws if you wanted to actually hold a rod in place.2. The holes are not uniform. They are placed differently on each holder. This makes getting a level and even installation a bit difficult since each holder requires individual adjustments to be straight.They were the cheapest option I found so there is value there.
