My crabs don't eat very much, but sometimes I see them eat, and when I do, they're usually picking at the mineral block. I have two crabs, and one mineral block can last me months, [I feed the crabs fruit, veggies, fish, and nuts, too] but I mist their tank with water twice a day to keep it humid, and because of the moisture, I've had a few mineral blocks go moldy before and then of course I throw them out. Zoo Med makes great mineral blocks, so bought some more of these!

These are great to leave with your crabs during vacation, but I also like to put these in as a supplement to their food and they love it!

My son's hermit crabs love these things. But this listing is inaccurate. It's only a single three pack. I mistakenly understood it to be four three-packs because the picture obviously only shows 3 mineral blocks at more than twice the price of other listings. Fool me once...

I purchased these ahead of time before going on vacation to see how my hermies would like them. I placed one in the tank in the afternoon and that night I checked on it and my hermit had moved it into the coco hut and there were pieces missing from it. They have never moved food before. So far so good!

These mineral blocks for Land Hermit Crabs are wonderful! My crabs love the delicious cherry flavor! However, I do have to break apart the blocks for them; I find they won't sit and eat chips off of them. My crabs actually prefer to eat the calcium from these blocks after I powder it using a butter knife. This also makes the block last longer and I can sprinkle the powder on top of their other foods...where they can and do devour it quickly!
