I love these little fairy lights. I have them everywhere and they seem pretty durable. They've been up since before Christmas. After the winter ice and snow storm, it's finally warm enough to take them down but I really hate to because I really do love them! We live in a rural area and where I have them it is very difficult to run electricity. These little solar lights have been perfect. I will definitely buy them again.

These are great little lites that don't require you to plug and unplug them except one of the 6 I bought did not work and no way that I could find to request a replacement. There was a phone number from China for customer service, but calling China did not seem like a good option. That's why I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. If they'd all worked, it would have been a definite 5.

I just received these and let me just start by saying "do not believe the pictures". First the lights are not going to give you much light like the pictures show. They are not going to illuminate much. Second, you have to be very careful when installing these as the wires are extremely fragile and will be break away easily causing the remaining lights on the circuit to fail. I was hoping to use these to light up my backyard but will end up returning these for a refund.

We purchased these for our yard. We put them on the top of the fence. They are so cute at night and makes it easier for when we take our dog out. I also love all of the different modes that are included. However, I leave on the static mode because I don’t want them flashing at the moment. I have noticed there are some days when I look outside and some of the lights have switched modes on their own. I will leave them on static but then the next day, I will look and they are flashing. No one has touched them or switch them without me knowing. I simply go out and change them, but it gets kind of annoying after a while. I kind of think that these lights don’t do well when it’s cold (The lowest is been is about 30 to 40°).So in summary, they are very cute and make the yard look nice, but they may suddenly change their mode on you randomly

With the night's drawing in, I have started to look at my feature lighting in the garden again and love these types of thin wire LED light strands. This one is long at 15M and has an LED around 8-10cm apart, giving a total of 150 LEDs to the strand. The wire is very thin and can easily tangle (why do wires always tie themselves up in knots when they touch?) so care is needed to try and stop this, but once in place it is near invisible, except when switched on.Power is provided by what is now a standard solar box with built-in battery. This charges easily during the day (needs about 6-8 hours of normal UK light) and provides around 10-12 hours of use, so more than enough for feature lighting in the evening. Again, as it typical with these solar panels, you get a choice of light modes, from strobes through to always on. The lights come on at dusk and should there still be power in the morning, will switch off at dawn (the sensor is in the solar panel). There is no need to mess with timers or similar. My final comment is that these are designed for edge lighting and not to actually light up anywhere specific. They are not large enough or bright enough to do thatl.
