5 stars for usefulness; 3 stars for craftsmanship. We use a reading and spelling curriculum that utilizes tons of cards, and my kids are in 2 different levels at the same time. I wanted to be able to combine all the cards, but keep them organized. This box is a great size for my needs. I love that it comes with a large number of dividers I can label myself.In terms of how the box is made...it's not the best quality. The bamboo looks and feels nice, but the corners are glued together (not tongue and groove), and the acrylic dividers, which I removed, are roughly cut on both ends (so either side you use, you will see the rough edge). One feature I liked about this box over others is that it has an acrylic lid, so that I can see the contents inside. However, the lid is not removable, and it hinges up and down on thin pieces of acrylic. Actually, I first received a box with a broken lid because the small piece of acrylic snapped off where it hinges. I had to return it, but at least returning and receiving a replacement was a smooth process. It makes me wonder if my new one will eventually break though.The lid is also covered in a white film on both sides to protect it. It's not super easy to remove in one piece, and tiny pieces flake off and stick to the acrylic (pictured) - nothing major, but a pain to get off. Still, this was what I needed to get my cards organized and out of multiple boxes that were taking up space. I was so happy to see that this card holder fits perfectly in one corner of my rolling cart.

I am very happy to have received this box, the cards, and dividers. I like that the box is divided into sections and the use for colored cards. Index card are so handy for using different colors such as green cards for anything to do with money. I would also like to do some writing and using a color for all different bits of information I will need to for each artical will help me keep track of it all. I know some can do this on a computer, but I am old and learned to use index cards when writing and that is what I use still. I think I will be using some of my lovely stickers to decorate the box.I appreciate the opportunity to use this box and the cards. Thank you.

The edges of the plastic lid were very rough - like they had not been sanded clean. These pictures were taken after I had already worked a bit to sand them down myself - I decided to stop, take a photo, and send in a review. I am going to sand it down and keep it, because it has the functionality I want, but, let’s say I'm not impressed.
