I installed these on the cheapest belt sander I've ever owned.... and it works great. Remember...all the sander has to do is turn the belt .... And these belts work.....

It's hard to review belts like this. I've run them through their paces and they are good. Nothing really different but certainly well made and will give you good service. The size is right and the joint is flat. The variety, 40/60/80/120/150/240/400 grit is good but a little odd. This is a belt sander so 240 and 400 grit may not be useful. I might cut up the 240 and 400s for block or hand sanding.

The belts are of high quality. I got the 40 grit so they are very rough and can handle stripping type jobs. The price is astronomically good considering these belts usually cost three or four dollars a piece. Would definitely recommend to any woodworker

This set of sanding belts is a decent basic set with a wide range of grits. They fit my Ridgid belt sander fine and seem to track well once on the sander.For me and my typical usage, the belt sander is a tool for rapid stock removal, whether it's wood (which is usually the case) or paint. It's not a fine finishing tool in my opinion, so having anything finer than 150 grit is really sort of unnecessary. I would have preferred having more of the coarser grit belts, since they see a lot of action and wear.In use, these work fine, with nothing to set them apart from other generic sanding belts. I will say that a number of the belts seem to have creases/folds in them running across the width of the belt (see the photo I've included in my review). I'm not sure if that's a byproduct of how they were made, the fabric that they're made of or the fact that they were all shoehorned into one another in the shipping box, but I'm not used to seeing those kinds of creases, and it makes me wonder about the longevity of these. And because so many of the belts were stacked one inside the other, it was a bit of a pain to get to the belts I needed.The product's listing information is also inconsistent in what you will receive. One main photos at the very top of the page says you'll receive 3 each of the 40/60/80/120/150/240 grit belts and 2 of the 400 grit belts. The text accompanying the listing (as well as a photo lower down in the listing) says you'll receive 3 each of the 60/80/120/150/240/400 grit belts and 2 of the 40 grit belts. I got 3 of the 60/80/120/150/240/400 grit belts and 2 of the 40 grit belts, but would have preferred 3 of the 40 grit and 2 of the 400 grit.Time will tell if these hold up over extended use; I will update my review if they don't. Certainly at this price for 20 belts, if you will use all the grits and they hold up under moderate use, it's a pretty decent value.
