I have the DS greeting card display in black, so I already knew I would like this one since the only difference is this one having a natural finish. I prefer the natural finish in comparison to my black stained one, but they look nice side by side. I put my seasonal cards in this one, and my everyday cards in the black one. It's a great display, takes some time to put together because of the amount of pieces, but it's not hard. I would say, The only part of the assembly that I find troublesome is attaching the tiers together. Getting the bottom tier onto the base is fairly easy, but getting the top tier onto the bottom tier takes some messing around to sort of blindly getting the notches into place. Once it's put together, it's pretty solid- I do make sure to lift from the base though so I'm not stuck trying to put the tiers together again. At the end of the day, yeah it takes longer to assemble when compared to the metal displays that are preassembled. But the winning feature of the display store display is it can be flat packed. I've successfully taken my display with me in a checked bag stored in the box it came in without any damages. I wouldn't have been able to do that with a metal display because even if I did manage to fit it into my suitcase, it wouldn't take up too much space. Plus, I like the overall presentation of the wooden display in comparison to metal or acrylic displays. It's also pretty durable, the one I have already in a different finish has been on planes and thrown in trunks for a little over 5 months and I haven't cracked any pieces (knock on wood).

This rack looks like it was custom made for my 5.5" x 7.5" decal packages. I'm really happy that it is true to size! I make a lot of laser-cut art and this rack is very well-designed. I particularly like the height of the acrylic pieces. My packages do not tumble out the front. I found the rack easy to assemble (my technique for attaching the horizontal pieces is to start in one corner and work my way around wiggling the tabs into place before I slide it all the way on. If needed, you can rub a little candle wax on the tabs so they slide in more easily). I love that this rack does not require any glue so I can take it apart to store it. You can easily use it as a 2-tier rack, or if you have a laser, cut a few more bottom pieces to make 3 little racks. It is really versatile. I am planning to stain it, but I have not decided on a color yet. You can reverse most of the pieces so I may use a different color on each side. Finally, since it is hollow, you can put weights inside if you want to take it to an outdoor show that might be windy. I recommend it!

After unpacking this I remember why my parents used to do puzzles with me as a kid. My Grandma always said, one day you need that skill. OK jokes aside this thing is easy to assemble put patience required since not everything lines up on the first attempt. The installation itself is straight forward and easy. The problem is not everything fits the way it should. Sometimes you have to wiggle a bit to make it fit. However be careful since its made from Natural "THIN" Wood.Once put together it is sturdy. Only problem I see is Customers.Since this display is advertised as Display for Retail we have to address the elephant in the room. I know how I installed it and that made me see potential week points which could come apart. Customers don't know them and I have a feeling when they start manhandling the display, it may come apart.Potential need to add some wood glue for permanent assembly

Put this together this morning, and I think it will make a really nice display for postcards on the checkout counter of my retail shop. The wood that it's made of is lightweight but still very sturdy, and is as thick if not thicker as other quality laser-cut items that I have used in the past. Some are flimsy and thin, but this one is a good thickness. All together it took about 10 or 15 minutes to put together completely, and other than the expected minor aggravations of putting these slot-together things together (holding multiple things upright at once, etc.), it went smoothly. The horizontal pieces were a little fiddly to get pressed down onto all 4 sides at once, but if you take your time, pay attention to what you are doing, and don't try to just jam stuff together you shouldn't have a problem. The wood really is black, and looks more like it was dyed than painted - by that, I mean that it doesn't feel like there is any sort of coating on the wood, like it still feels like unfinished wood but is a deep black color. After removing the protective film on the plexiglass pieces, they are absolutely crystal clear and look super nice on the unit, allowing the entire frontage of the items on display to be seen. The rubber pads on the bottom do a nice job of keeping it from sliding around while it's being spun.My only complaint is about the spinning mechanism. It does turn, but feels rough and draggy. For the price, I would expect a smoother spin. I will be inspecting that part later to see if I can do anything to make it spin more freely. If you do craft fairs and need an easy-to-see display for printed items, this might be for you, but probably not for vendors who travel light and need to pack everything flat. Though I have no doubt this thing can be taken apart, it was fussy enough to assemble that I wouldn't want to put it together and take it apart for every show.TIP: The tower is basically built from 3 stacked "boxes". If you put a bit of weight in the bottom box (a rock, a bag of sand, an expired can of peas, etc.) it will make it sit much more sturdily, and will feel very solid.

This card display is not difficult to put together, but fiddly. You must be careful and patient when putting the top piece of each level onto the uprights, and also when putting the clear plexiglass fronts in. The display rotates easily for viewing all sides. The stand seems very sturdy and durable and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Perfect for a vendor’s booth.
