These simple but effective scoops are definitely on the stiffer side, not some flimsy plastic that deforms. Anything but. They almost feel like Lexan, and are ready for whatever you need to dispense: popcorn, bird seed, wild oats, etc.Well, maybe not the last one. But you get the idea.
