These cloths are essentially a mild abrasive meant to remove superficial imperfections. For paint transfer and minor scratches on the clear coat, this will work best. i had a single long scratch that may have been in the depth of the clear coat. Although using the cloth did seem to reduce the appearance, the scratch probably needed to be filled in first. Each cloth comes with a packet of what looks like thin PopTart glaze. It likely adds some lubrication and fine abrasiveness to the action to the cloth. Adding that still left a mark remaining in the clear coat. The creme should help with paint transfers. It will still take a bit of muscle to use these cloths.

I got this for a silver car I have that had red paint on the door from it being hit by someone else door. To my surprise it worked great! Not only to get the paint off but you can't tell it was ever even there. It works well on surface scratches to like the ones you get from trying to find your car door key hole at night.I wouldn't use it for deep car scratches it doesn't work for them but it worked for what needed it for. It worked very well and I only needed to use one out of the pack.
