Very strong adhesive which works great on my car. It's sticky and lasts, build quality is top notch, 3m never cheap out imo, and you get a nice large pad to cut as you need. Preparation before installing is KEY to getting a good adhesion and I'd suggest an adhesive promotor, like 3m promotor, to really get a rock solid connection. I've got 3m on much of my aftermarket parts for my car and nothing has moved a mm. 3m just rules when it comes to sticky.

I used this to reapply the emblem after restoring the fender on my car. It was the easiest and most rewarding operation of the entire project. Real easy to cut. Very sticky and pliable. Worked will.

Part of the backing came off this stuff in transit. It didn't feel sticky to the touch and so I thought it had gone bad. Then when I tried to cut the "bad part" off, it adhered stubbornly to the scissors.I used it to stick a car logo (aka emblem) back on after painting. Two months have passed and it's still looks and feels as if it just came from the factory.• Make sure your surfaces are TOTALLY CLEAN! I wiped both sides down with rubbing alcohol before applying.• Expect it to stick to scissors. So you need high-quality, tight, sharp scissors. I scored it with an Exacto knife before cutting.• One backing side is extremely hard to remove. Just be patient and bend it and pry at it, and it will come off.

I need to attach an emblem to my license plate. Strong adhesive. I don't think I would want to use it on my car finish though.

To my knowledge, this 3M's strongest adhesive. If it absolutely must stick, this stuff is what you want. It's also pretty thin, so it won't be very apparent once in place

Purchased to re-line some car badges with adhesive to put back on a vehicle after a paint job. While it ultimately got the job done, it wasn't pleasant to work with. The red backing that is on the adhesive is VERY hard to get off - almost as if it is old and has melted into the adhesive. This was a daunting task, especially on the smaller, more intricate badges with cursive letters. It's really not easy to trim either - even with a good, sharp x-acto knife, it stretched and stretched as I was trying to cut, instead of cutting nicely around corners and letters. Overall, it did get the job done, but it's not the prettiest since you can see some of the adhesive behind the letters (due to the stretching/hard to cut).If you buy this, be prepared to fight with it for awhile. So far, it's holding up well in the elements so I don't think longevity will be an issue, but it's a bear to work with, so it's best suited for larger emblems and lettering - nothing small and intricate.Oh - it's also ridiculously priced - no bang for the buck here, that's for sure.
