The 3M Mini Mandrel is designed to work with your die grinder or rotary tool This accessory grips a 1-inch wide strip of Scotch-Brite non-woven material allowing you to access tight internal diameters, typically for surface conditioning or polishing tasks

The 3M™ Mini Mandrel 935 is a tool attachment that holds a 1 inch wide strip of Scotch-Brite™ non-woven material, enabling the user to clean, polish, or deburr the inside diameter of a pipe or other cylinder. The 2-7/8 inch long mini mandrel fits onto a rotary tool such as a die grinder or drill. The shank of the mandrel is 1/4 inch in diameter and compatible with a 1/4 inch power tool collet or drill chuck. Max RPM is 14,000.

This is a deceptive offer. I thought I was buying two of these but only one was delivered.The photo shows two units. If only one is included for this price, that fact really ought to be clearly stated somewhere, and it is not. I am disappointed that the buyer is expected to use logic to infer what is included.

It appears by the photo you will be receiving 2. I ordered a qty of 2 thinking I would get a total of 4. Advertising is misleading. Good product made by 3m however.

I made a couple mandrels out of some steel, but I figured I'd give these a go since they have grips on them.They work well, but not any better than just slotted mandrels you can easily make with a grinder

These mandrels are fantastic. You can use them with sandpaper or 3m Scotch-Brite. You can use them to enlarge holes in plastics or other materials. You can then finish the hole using milder abrasives or Scotch-Brite pads. Be aware that this price is absolutely outrageous and these can be purchased for about half this price if you look elsewhere.
