I have sensitive skin and contact dermatitis as well as on allergy to adhesives. I have a feeding tube through a stoma in my abdomen that I keep covered due to mild leakage(creates lots of laundry due to wet spot on shirts and blouses, probably dresses also but it is hard to hike up a dress to attach tubing in polite company.😉🤣 Other tapes became one with my skin(held the gauze on really well) and a layer of skin was ripped off with each gauze change and created contact dermatitis issues. Then I discovered the 2"blue silicone easy remove tape for sensitive skin. This stuff is AMAZING!!!!!!! I can readjust the tape as needed for perfect placement to keep the gauze dressing in place comfortably. I actually get to KEEP ALL my skin when I change the dressing. What a blessing---I was afraid I would have a skinless abdomen which would be scary to say the least.😉I will continue to use this product as it is also a super great value for the money(actually cheaper than the nexcare brand 1" x 1.5 yards at the store). I use quite a bit with each daily dressing change(5 yards of 2" tape every 3-4) weeks.I am blessed to find such an amazing product for daily use! I am passing the word around to everyone I know. I recommend that anyone who has to do any sort of dressing change to switch to this tape to avoid skin irritation.

It’s a 3m problem not a seller problem, and it does hurt a lot less to remove, but it’s also not very strong.

I developed an allergy to adhesive and saw the reviews for this silicone tape. I even bought 2 sizes. It didn't make me itch and it did the job and held the bandage on.

I use this product to take my mail for better sleep. It worked extremely well and was easy to remove the next morning. I had trouble tearing it so I use scissors to cut it. I don’t have a lot of hand strength. I think a person with normal hand strength would be able to tear it.

I ordered two different types of silicone tape’s. This one I will use up, but in general, it fails compared to a true silicone tape that is silicone 100%. This tape is only silicone on one side with a cloth on the other, which seems to trap moisture, I do not recommend this product at all and for reference my wife is a wound care nurse, who also gave it a thumbs down The small patch of brown silicone is soft flexible and does not trap moisture. It’s a different brand.

I originally bought this to tape my mouth closed because my style of sleep mask didn't cover my entire nose (ends at my nostrils), and I toss and turn at night. So, my mask would slip a lot and let air leak in, drying my mouth out. It was highly effective in keeping my mouth closed when shaved (doesn't adhere to hair well). However, I found the air being pumped down my nostrils was forcing too much air into my colon and caused severe stomach pain. But then I decided to use this tape to tape the mask to my nose and to my chin, and it perfectly secures my mask all night. I put my mask on, then I run a piece of tape off of the top of the mask nose and secure it to my nose. Then I tape a long piece across the bottom of the mask and secure it to my chin. I no longer deal with my mask slipping all night.
