This stuff is awesome. 3m adhesive for car dash applications to take the heat of summer. It snaps into another piece very easy but has the strength to hold. You can hang pretty much anything with. It arrived on time and is a good buy.

Velcro's great, but sometimes it's not enough -- that's where Dual Lock come in. The hooks hold, and the adhesive stays put. There's no comparison.Do NOT re-use the adhesive, if you put weight on it. Use a new piece.I used it to secure an expensive power supply, upside down under my guitar pedal stand. I wasn't going to trust it to Velcro. That power supply ain't going nowhere, ever.Worth. Every. Penny.

If you want to secure an item to a surface without glue, this is the thing you need to use! This product will secure any item you need. I use it to mount my FastTrack transmitter to my motorcycle and no amount of wind or rain will move it. It is a bit difficult to remove an item but that is why I use the product in the first place!

Used this to attach a dash cam tommy windshield after the stock adhesive kept facing and I kept coming back to my car with the dashcam dangling.I remembered it being VERY good at holding from when I worked at a rental car place and they used it to attach toll passes to the windshields. I remembered having to use a razor to get it off the windshield.I remembered right! This stuff is serious. It's not regular hook and loop, it's a completely different design. Basically a bunch of plastic beads on rods like snail eyes. They interlock with each other like hook and loop but much more securely. The other advantage is that there is only one side to this. It's one strip that you just cut into equal lengths, not two different kinds like hook and loop. But GOOD LORD is this stuff expensive! I'm sure there's a cheaper way to get it.

This is a great quality product. Sticks well to windshield and dash in vehicle - withstands heat of sun and holds the product great. Before applying ... clean area really well and if there is any weight to the item you want to install on the windshield, etc .... let the adhesive "cure" for a day (with no weight on it) before the final mount. The Dual Lock holds things steady - not like velcro - which is great for many things - but if you want a stable fix, this is the product that will do that.

I love 3M products: reliable, long lasting, do what they are designed to do. This Velcro like strip was no exception. Holds a lot better than regular Velcro, sticks to my windshield elevated through freezing winters and hell-like summers without any sign of coloring, cracking or peeling off. This is the same stuff that came with my E-Z pass box for use with the toll roads in Virginia, and I needed some to move the box to another car. This 4-foot roll on Amazon is a good price: I didn’t need the larger full roll, but I didn’t want to pay five or six dollars for a few half-inch strips when I could get four feet for just five or six dollars more. Yes, it’s more expensive than your everyday double sided tape, but it is a lot better for certain applications where you want the sticky-tape like hold but still need to be able to temporarily mount or remove the mounted item from time to time. Great stuff and, well worth the price here on Amazon!

As long as you properly clean the surface and object you plan placing the dual lock on, it will do the job. Most importantly, make sure to firmly press on the areas of applied material and verify there is a smooth adhesion. Follow these steps and anything you stick on the wall will be there semi-permanently. I say this because you may end up doing damage to whatever you mounted before this material will give way. If you over do it, picture frames will flex and potentially break if you want to take them down (use the right amount, don't over do it). Also it can take a layer of paint off the wall if you end up wanting to remove the strips at a later time, so take that for what it's worth.I’ve mounted large frames, plaques, and even lamps in a pinch. I'm sold on this product even though it comes with a hefty price and will being using it in any future situations to come that require its utility.
