Strong and does the job. Can even accommodate my laptop. Reduces neck strain and wide enough for additional document and even books. I love this item.

Love this document holder. I can keep my head straight while doing data entry! Move it out of the way when not using it. Bravo!

Really poor structure. Very rickety which you can’t tell from the online pictures. Looking to sell immediately

This product was not as good as I had hoped. It is not tall enough for A4 documents. They flop over the back of it. I ended up having to buy another different product to do the job.

This does what you need it to do but I wouldn't pay $40 for this again!1. luckily this didn't take a genius to put together, the instructions were a joke!2. Once assembled, none of the pieces are really secure. the legs kept falling off. The black guided string is super flimsy if you accidentally hit it, it flings off! I kept it off as you see in the picture.3. As you can see in the picture, I'm not using the leg pieces, they kept falling off until laid on a flat surface of course but i think the way i have this set up, it works just as a great if not better.Overall, I'm happy with the product, it works for what it's purposed for, i just wouldn't pay this much for it!

excellent product. very sturdy once assembled. ideal footprint even for a small desk, meaning I can still have my laptop and keyboard. I like the string/cable that holds the pages in place when you open a book on it. adjustable for different reading angles meaning that I can avoid glare. also easy to stow away as the ages come off and it store practically flat.besides amazing shipping times to get to me, estimated was a week, got it in two days.

I had the larger version of this at my old job, unfortunately I never got it back. The larger one was substantially more sturdy. I actually thought that was the one I ordered again until it came. It does function for what I want though. I don't have a ton of space on my desk, so size-wise it is fine. I did not use the legs that came with it or the sticky pads, I need to be able to move it around some. The parts that hold the shield have rubber buttons on them so it does not slide around. I am not sure it is worth almost $40 though.

This holder works well now that I have adjusted it. The parts came assembled wrong for how I wanted to use it. I have a desk for my monitor but place the keyboard tray on my lap so having the page support hang down worked great. I have to type quotes from various sizes of books and being able to have them between my keyboard and monitor works great! This model the DH630 does not come with weights. I did not want to use the adhesive on my desk so I re-purposed the lead weights from my exercise weights (2 Lbs each), putting them in baggies (I hear it is not a good idea to handle lead with your bear hands) and then just balancing them across the desk supports of the stand. Maybe small canned goods or fishing lead weights would work too. The elastic line was too light to use on my books so I raided my sewing supplies for some 3/8 inch elastic. For now I just tied it horizontally around the stand, knotting it in the back. It works great! It keeps the book open and is elastic enough to easily lift up and take the book out to turn pages. I used it on a 425 page larger paperback book and it was stable and firm. The provided elastic line will work great for individual papers. I'm so glad to find and use this, it really helps! Thank-you 3M!

I have stuck this to my desk with the included adhesive strips. The legs just kind of sit in there, though, so they don't stay even/level with each other easily. The angle adjustment is kind of a pain, too. It is a knob on either side that you have to turn, adjust the holder, then tighten the knobs. It is really easy for the legs and/or the holder itself to go wonky. I had to prop it up against my monitor riser (you can see it a bit in the first pic--it's the wooden thing behind the document holder) to keep it from going too off-balance. It doesn't work for the top third or so of documents in portrait orientation. I didn't have too much trouble aligning the left and right sides of the guide but now that I have had it for 6 months or so, the clips holding the guide pop off frequently and just this morning, one of the plastic bits that holds the guides in place broke off. I have circled where the piece broke off (left side of second pic) and what it SHOULD look like (right side of second pic). Definitely not worth almost $40.

This document stand has proved indispensable at my office. I do a lot of transcription work, so this bad boy has saved me a lot of headache and strain on my neck and shoulders. And if you don't want to use it for documents, it's a great place to keep a collection of sticky notes, or a small notepad within easy reach. The viewing angle is wide and completely customizable, and the little rubber feet hold it upright even without using the little rails that they sit on. All in all, it's proved its usefulness. My one gripe is that the elastic band isn't quite secure. So I simply don't use it. Instead I would recommend using a binder clip to keep your things in place, if that's at all possible.

I purchased this document holder because I work in the office all day at my computer, which has become a problem for my posture recently. This allows me to maintain good posture while I review documents and paperwork at my desk. Everything is kept at eye level, prefect for sitting up straight! It comes with a little string attachment that acts as an on-page ruler, but I found that it comes off the holder easily once you start moving it frequently. I wish that the string ruler would stay on, but that isn't enough of a nuisance to warrant a lower rating. This stands easily in front of the computer monitor without blocking the screen. Granted, I have my screen raised up higher for my posture. It isn't bulky and works perfectly at my desk. If you spent several hours at your computer all day looking at paperwork, you need this in your life!

This document holder is generally well designed. The transparent panel makes it easy to use with computers and the sliding/removable string is nice if you need pages held down. The knobs on the side allow for easy adjustment of the height and tilt of the panel. The product is sturdy.I would make two changes to the product. First, I'd extend the transparent panel by an inch or two. Many of the papers/textbooks I read extend beyond the upper lip of the panel, making it hard to write on them above the top of the panel. Second, I'd remove the lip on the front edge of the black bottom holder (the part that says 3M on it). This lip catches on book pages when they are turned. I don't think the lip adds any value.I think the holder has been worth the price. I'd recommend buying one since they greatly reduce strain on the neck and upper back.
