If you have difficulty sliding it in all of the way, pry up the plexiglass slightly with your fingernails in the middle of one of the long sides as you insert it. To remove the certificate, use the same trick while tapping on the opposite end. Walnut Grove takes pride in manufacturing high quality, American- made products. I bought this Walnut Grove plaque to display a certificate, and overall, I'm pleased with the purchase, though it does come with some caveats:Appearance: The satin black finish gives the plaque a very professional and elegant look, ideal for displaying certificates or documents. It adds a touch of class to any space.Installation: Sliding in standard printer paper or thin certificates is a breeze, taking mere seconds. However, if you're dealing with thicker parchment or diploma papers, be prepared for a bit of a challenge. The gap for insertion is quite narrow, and you need to be careful not to damage your document. I'd recommend sliding it in from the vertical side, as noted by another reviewer, to avoid any potential rips.Durability: The plexiglass front is a point of concern. While it looks good, it feels a bit cheap and brittle. I've noticed it can scratch easily, and there's a slight risk of cracking if not handled gently. The corner pegs that hold the glass in place seem flimsy, which might not inspire confidence in long-term durability.Versatility: This plaque is designed for wall hanging; there's no stand included. If you need to display it on a desk or shelf, you'll need to purchase a separate frame easel or stand. I used felt pads on a metal easel from a craft store to prevent scratching.Value: At the price point, this plaque offers a good deal compared to similar products from specialty stores. It looks professional and is well-made for its cost, but the materials used could be of higher quality. Conclusion: If you're looking for an affordable, stylish way to showcase your certificates, this plaque does the job. Just be mindful of the installation process with thicker documents, and handle the plexiglass with care. It's not perfect, but for the price and appearance, it's a solid choice for wall-mounted displays.

Easy to use...just insert the certificate inside the cover and it's perfect. Looks great too!

At first I thought it was fine, but as I loaded the certificate, I could tell it wasn't worth what I paid. The plexiglass has little cracks in it, and the four corner pegs meant to hold down the glass are flimsy. They actually push in - the should screw. And two of them don't stay down well - they are crooked.

It was pretty sturdy and easy to slide the certificates in (once I realized I didnt need to take off the tabs)

Needed a nice plaque for a certificate. This worked out perfect and was easy to use. Certificate slid right in. Only concern is that the plastic seems pretty cheap and brittle so hoping it will not crack over time.

Beautiful plaque. Great quality, Very happy with this purchase. Be very delicate with plexi glass. The vertical side is where the certificate easily slides in. I tried to slide it in the horizontal side and its almost impossible to put the certificate in without it ripping, so be careful to only put it in the vertical side. Also it does not have a stand in the back like a frame does, it's for hanging on the wall. I went to Michael's craft store and brought a frame easel. I only found a metal easel so I put self stick felt pads and layered them to make a cushion on the metal part of the easel that I placed the plaque on so it doesn't scratch.Plaque looks quite stunning with certificate
