What in the world did we older folks do before Scotch-Brite, when all we had was sandpaper and steel wool. It was just next to impossible to knock the shine off of every single area of a car with sandpaper. And steel wool? I hated the stuff, cuz you could never get ALL of the steel wool dust cleaned off prior to painting. Scotch-Brite was, and still is a Godsend.

These general purpose maroon Scotch-Brite pads have a multitude of uses in the shop. We use the on the edges of polycarbonate as well as aluminum. Beats the ones you buy in the grocery store with the yellow sponge attached.
