I haven't used this brake bleeder yet, but I wanted to just put a warning out to potential buyers to be warry of the instructions that come with it. They are inaccurate and, if followed closely, could lead to issues. To be honest, the only reason I bought this one was because it was the only one that appears to come with multiple caps to fit various vehicles. I have multiple car of different makes, so I'm hoping that this will have me covered.In regard to the instructions, first, the instruction say to open the brake bleeder screw BEFORE you attached the fluid catch bottle hose to it. Obviously, this is incorrect and will result in a mess and, worse, possible introduce air into the brake system. Don't do this, attached the bottle hose first, then open the bleeder screw on your caliper.Second, the instructions say to have a helper inside the car to pump the brakes while bleeding. Yet, the product is marketed as a one-man brake bleeder tool. In fact, the whole purpose of this type of tool is to allow you to bleed your brakes by yourself without needing a help to pump the brakes. Obviously, whoever wrote this simply took some generic instructions on how to bleed brakes and used that as the instructions for this tool.If you've never used one of these bleeder pumps before, the best thing to do is to watch a video or two where someone demonstrates the process. It's pretty straightforward, but better to watch someone who knows what they're doing first for safety reasons. These are pressurized units, so better to be safe and know what you're doing. There are plenty of videos on YouTube, so don't rely on the instructions that come with this unit.I'll update my review once I've actually used the unit in case I come across any other deficiencies.UPDATE: We’ll, I tried the brake bleeder on my 2015 Jaguar F-Type today. Major fail. I used the 45mm master cylinder adapter that came with the kit, which is indicated to be for European cars. I attached the adapter, filled the tank with brakes fluid, tightened everything down and went to pressure test the system to make sure it would hold pressure. No sooner did I start pumping the bleeder when I saw brake fluid gushing out from around the adapter. By the time I was able to stop it, it had run down and stripped the paint from part of my engine bay before running out the bottom of the car. After a long annoying cleanup, I tried again, tightening the adapter onto the master cylinder even more tightly this time, and going very slowly to avoid another gusher. Again, I say brakes fluid draping out around the adapter. No go. Complete waste of time. They’ll be getting this junk back.

I have been informed by the Amazon that this product is often returned...I think people just order it to do their job and then return it to get their money back as a free tool rental.For me it work very good, I bleed both brake system and clutch system.Only one small trick , the collecting reservoir dont airtight the bottle cap, as to let the air from the bottle escape once the fluid is pushed out by the pump...

This item is made with quality plastics. I needed an adapter for my Lincoln. They had the size and after working hard to get it in place I got started. After hitting 10 psi the cap on the brake fluid popped off and shot the fluid everywhere. Messy. I took out the rubber seal and it started working great. I also recommend putting a hole in the drain bottle.

No fitting for Chevrolet Malibu. Other fittings work fine on other automobile brands.

Leaking from air chuck...replaced the air chuck now leaking from adapter cap! Total waste of money do not buy this junk!

I bled my brakes this past weekend using this tool. I bought the 1qt size of brake fluid and filled her up. I sucked out the old nasty crap first then filled with new fluid.Once you put in the fluid they give you a spanner wrench to really tighten the fill cap. USE IT. I couldn't get it to hold pressure until I used that tool. After that it was pretty straight forward.The catch bottle has a collar and chain with a hook to wrap it around something to hold it while you open the bleed screw. It worked well, but as soon as you get any errant fluid on the bottle top the hose doesn't stay put making a mess.I would buy it again

I read the reviews and I know the connector is usually leaking and I found out it do come with a rubber gasket for the cap, after using it and the leak stop, it hold pressure and do the job, not bad, I am using it on BMW E46, also it come with 4 caps in my case.

dont waste your money. worse product quality and we are talking about needing to seal air tight for it to work... it wont work. im a full time mechanic and this item cost me 200 in losses the first time i used it.. what a joke. I wish i could sue them for my losses to make them aware of the ignorant products that dont do a thing what they are made for. stop making this. Brake fluid all over my customers car and driveway, couldnt accomplish the job and had to return another day while vehicle was not usable, my time and money lost, customers time lost. brake fluid all over customers car and driveway is horrible. even the stupid bleeder hose isnt rubber its hard plastic and wont even fit on a bleeder nipple. absolute joke.

The container & hand pump, while they work, it's much more of a chore than I'd like.. if the pump handle had a longer draw on it, it would be much better. As for the adapter "craps"... they're not worth the plastic and rubber used to make them. After investigating, I was able to come to the conclusion that the leak is caused by the excessive amount of play that is left in the center section of the caps, where the fitting for the pump hose comes through, as that's where it leaks when it does. I got it to stop by adding a moderate layer of bearing grease to the rubber ring, and by spinning the fitting around with a large amount of grease, then wiping away the excess... however, this was short lived because a loud POP was heard while I was actively attempting to bleed the second caliper I was on. turns out, the cap blew off, sending brake fluid everywhere, forcing me to sprint to my equipment to get my dawn/water mix bottle to clean the paint before any damage was done...If you purchase this product... don't bet on the caps working. spend extra on the brass assortment cap set... it'll save you a heap of trouble.
