This was a pretty cheap camera, easy to install and I have had no issues so far. Even in 14 below weather.

This was super easy to set up. The video quality of the camera is excellent. Very clear and you can control the movement's/direction with the app . You will need a sd card or pay for cloud on app to retain videos. I got mine for an outdoor over door porch light fixture and I had to order a bulb extender to get 100% viability due to the glass globe . It really has a great range of view/motion and sound . For the price I’d buy it 10 times over ! It also comes with an electric plug in adapter and one other adapter. easy way to have some eyes in the sky .

Save your money! I couldn’t get these to stay paired to my phone. I contacted the seller and their solution was to move the camera closer to the router or move the router closer to the camera for better connectivity. The position of my router is dictated by where the cable was installed and the camera is in a light fixture outside the house. Where else would you put a security camera? I had a signal strength of 96% which according to them is more than enough. I contacted them again but got no response. I have the option to send it back but the nearest Amazon return drop off is 40 miles from me. Don’t “cheap out”. Buy yourself a Ring security setup.

I set up/mounted 3K Light Bulb camera at the ceiling - just in front of my apartment door about a month ago. I often travel for work and spend a few days away. I also have a Google wireless video doorbell with a built-in camera. The doorbell costs twice as much as this camera, yet the image quality is worse, and the main issue is that it constantly loses connection and freezes. This happens several times a day, and the only way to fix it is to manually reboot it using the Reset button or by unplugging and replugging the power cable.So, whenever I left town, the doorbell would work for a few hours and then freeze, becoming completely useless. This Bulb camera completely solved that problem! Even though it’s further from the router than the doorbell and partially blocked by a concrete ceiling overhang, which disrupts the direct signal, it works flawlessly. In over a month, I haven’t had to touch it—it hasn’t frozen or had any errors. The connection speed is consistently around 300 Mbps, so it records in full color and at the best possible quality.For the price, I haven’t found better security! I even set up the siren and strobe light as a warning for unwanted visitors.One small suggestion for the manufacturer: Guys, the motion sensor is a bit delayed. A speedy courier or someone else dropping off a package can throw it down and walk away before the camera fully activates—I’ve seen plenty of backs and heads 😂. That said, the app offers tons of advanced customization tools for tweaking every setting, so maybe I missed something and just need to dive deeper into the interface.Overall verdict: Bravo! I’m giving it a 4.9! Hands down, the best deal on the market at this price. Keep it up, team! Happy holidays, everyone! 🎉

Using the app and installing instructions went well, but I haven't been able to get it close enough to our wireless system yet to actually try it out. While setting up the picture seemed to be real good. Hope to use it soon.

Definitely waned higher 5MP 3K resolution instead of 2K image quality which most are. I've tried a lot of bulb cameras, my last one barely would connect to our WiFi even though it was only 15 feet away from the antenna and would often disconnect or was unable to reconnect without having to reset everything and hold the bulb at an angle to barley pickup the wifi signal. Eventually it died because it had no protective seal or cover on the micro SD card slot and rain could just drip inside, definitely not for outdoor use even though it said it was (of course, seller disappeared completely from Amazon).Happy to report this one is installed in the same place as the other bulb camera and shows a WiFi signal strength of around 74%. So far after two weeks of use it has not disconnected and I am able to access the camera through the app anywhere on my Android phone. Only thing that was odd was the motion light kept coming on at night even though I had all the motion settings off. It was actually in the image resolution settings, you have to choose black and white for night vision, as if you choose auto or color it engages a motion sensor and turns on the light to gain color at night. Photos: daylight auto 5 MP, night black and white (no light on). I Have the bulb hanging upside down outside with a little rain hood attachment where the bulb screws in. So far so good, and it has rained heavily here a few times.PROS:- Good Wifi strength, about 15 feet outside from router passing through 1 wall and deck, 74% signal strength.- Has a rubber seal where micro SD storage card goes to keep dry from weather, also where reset switch. Some bulb cameras say they are outdoor use but have no protection from weather and water just drips inside eventually killing the camera.- LED spot light is very bright.- Easy PTZ motion control that's quick and responsive, can also flip video depending on if you have the bulb facing up or hanging down.- No issues manually taking screen shots or recording to 128 GB micro SD card.- Followed instruction to setup and connect to home wifi, no problem.- Comes with two adaptors if not using standard bulb socket.CONS:- Image has slight bubble effect from lens toward edges.- Rubber seal to access micro SD slot and reset button is hard to reach and hard to lift up (grab the indented tab and pull hard).- Doesn't come in black housing, only white. Black housing would be more stealthy for outside.- Little red and blue LEDs stay on (very faint) when not in use unless you turn the bulb off in the app.
