This is really well made. It's easy to use and works well. It's small enough to store away easily.

We have a huskey and she often needs to go to the groomers to get that undercoat out and off of her. I have decided to take the time to take it upon myself to rake her undercoat myself and groom her at home. This has made bath time SO much easier and has saved our drains a lot more since we started using this! The handle is nice and fits in the hand well.

This multi function pet comb has three available tools. At the top, it has a multiple hook type comb for de-knotting. Good for long haired dogs and cats. Each side has a comb, that lifts into place for use, and then folds back down. One side is the needle row comb. The other side is the de-shedding rake. I used the de-shedding on my wire-haired shepherd and a lot of the hair and dander came off. Very useful. It's a 4-star rating because I had to try all three combs and figure out what each does. There are no directions. No QR code for a video. There is no storage bag.

My double-coated doodle has a lovely, wavy coat that makes deshedding difficult. I do brush her every day, with everything from a slicker to a comb to a plastic hairbrush, but I tend to not get much off.I think I got half her undercoat out in an hour yesterday. She's noticeably smaller. Her remaining hair has a remarkably different texture when it's not supported on all sides by dogwool--I got a shopping bag full of fluff, and it was *packed.*The two sides of undercoat rake are convenient--if you're using the long comb on one side, you don't have to pause to move it back into place; you can just flip the brush over. Since I spent a lot of time yesterday using the long comb to align the hair so I could pull the undercoat rake though, I really like that design feature. I haven't had much use for the fine-tooth comb yet.On that note, the comb is perfectly angled to pull through the dog hair--it's at just the slightest obtuse angle to the handle, so it doesn't get stuck in her wavy coat. The rake does get stuck, and I found the best approach was to use it like I was digging--fast six inch strokes in the same spot, slowly moving down the dog. It sort of peeled her undercoat off. There is no blade on the rake, though the teeth are slightly angled to cut through knots better. She didn't like it much, and she does usually enjoy being brushed. There was just too much grab/drag for her tastes. But I don't like the house being covered in fur either (or the sump pump being clogged with hair) so she'll have to put up with it.I've never had such an effective brush. It's not a miracle worker; I expect to spend a couple hours with it. But I think shedding season is now reduced from two months to a week.

We have two larger pups that shed and then shed some more and haven't found anything that helps. This little tool removed so much pet hair even after brushing with their regular brush. I'm impressed. Both pups liked being brushed with it, but the de-matting did seem to make one a little nervous. It didn't come with any instructions and it wasn't spelled out on the box which comb/brush was for what, so it was annoying having to check back on amazon to see which one to use. It really doesn't matter. After trying all 3 available combs, they all removed a lot of fur. Our GS/Great pyrenese mix usually has a coarser feel when petting him, but he actually felt soft afterwards with this. Under $15 for something that really works is so worth it!

We have tried a number of different brushes for our Brittany, and they all work to an extent, but not like this brush. It's almost gross how much red and white hair this thing pulled off of him. He seems to like being brushed with it which helps a lot. We will be using this often, and I am really hoping this cuts down on all of the hair around the house.
