The box is sturdy but not so hard it would injure you. Heavy! Which is ok for me,it moves less the heavier it gets. I'm am very happy with it and ecstatic I can jump 30" still. Now I need a taller one!!!!

I ordered this foam plyometric jump box as I'm currently in physical therapy recovering from an ACL surgery. We just started using boxes in therapy, so I figured I needed my own to continue with my exercises at home. What I love about this foam box is that if I eat it from misstepping, at least I won't injure myself too badly. This is especially true since I'm doing a lot of single-leg raises and coming off the box using a single-legged approach (versus using both legs for stability). The foam itself is sturdy/ stable enough to support someone without too much give. There is SOME give, and I probably wouldn't want to use this for box jumps as I'd want to land on a solid surface that does not have any give. That being said, this box has been great for my Bulgarian squats and depth drops. The exterior vinyl is thick and does have some grip, so I never worry about slipping. Overall, this has been a great addition to my home workout room and an asset to my recovery.

Having a home gym, was playing with the idea of using one of these boxes to add some variety movements into programming, and was thinking of having it for Bulgarian SPlit Squats, as my bench is about 17.5" from the ground, and this has a side that's 14". Packed well, and out of the box felt it was quality. No smell to air out, the outer zip cover is tough but easy to pat dry off any dirt from shoes from jumping on it, and it's firm enough to hold me (190lbs) jumping on it from all sides, although the 14" felt most stable/less compression. Slide it into my power rack with a center mounted lat pulldown, and the few inches lower feels great to get a better stretch on the top of the movement. I'm sure there's more I can use it for, and in time will build a playlist to do more dynamic movements, but I have no doubt this will be a quality piece for all that.

This is a well-made, highly useful plyo box. It can be used in a variety of ways but most notably box jumps. The box consists of shredded and compressed foam on the inside encased by a non-slip covering that zips over it.The box offers a substantial amount of support. I weigh 210lbs and it held me well. Being that the inside is foam, there is some give when landing on it. While the box has some weight, about 20lbs, I still highly recommend placing it next to a wall for added support to avoid tipping over.Pros:* good overall size and variety of heights.* good amount of support/sturdiness* good exterior material* easily portable* foam allows for some give which may be desired by some users* foam construction is forgiving if the user falls into the box.Cons:* as someone who has used a DIY firm wooden ploy box, the give of the foam take some getting g used to* if you are handy, can make a DIY wooden plyo box for less.* uncertain how well the foam may hold up over time.Overall a very useful plyo box.

First, I think the design, with the bright red, blue and yellow geometric shapes, is absolutely stunning and the box looks great in my indoor gym room. I even like that each side is labeled with its height so I don't have bother to think about which side is which height.I use the box primarily for box squats, for seated reverse rows and some other resistance-band exercises, and as a base for seated wrist curls and reverse wrist curls because it's easier than setting up my adjustable weight bench for those exercises. I occasionally use it for mountain climbers, decline push-ups, and step-ups. I find it am almost perfect balance between cushioning and firmness for those purposes. The dimensions are also good, though I would prefer an 18" side for box squats in place of the 14" side. (Some small plyo boxes, like the one from Rep Fitness, have 16x18x20" dimensions.) An advantage of the smaller 14" side is that it's easier to straddle the box when sitting, which I like to do sometimes. As a plyo box, which I don't use it for, I found that it was slightly softer than the other larger soft, stackable plyo boxes that I have. I also found the 14" side a bit small for landing on during jumps, especially when you consider that the edges depress and the stable jumping surface is actually small than 14" inches. So you might want to consider a larger size if your main use would be as a plyo box.Other sellers seem to offer the same plyo box, so you might want to compare prices.Overall, for my uses (primarily as a box squat box), this is a really comfortable box.

If you are new to jump squats on a box this might be a far stretch for you. This box will not move easily though it is heavy. I like using this for my squats and you can turn it to whatever side you want. I get a nice workout at home by using it. No need to go to the gym.

This is a really cool looking and well made plyo box. It's solid, has excellent stitching, and the fabric is thich and has an attractive design to it. This has been great for incorporating step ups, or using for exercises for elevating my legs. The only downside is it's not quite big or heavy enough to be stable for jumps or other dynamic movements. Even on a stable, solid floor, if I don't jump squarely onto it, the plyo box will very quickly roll out from under me.With that caveat in mind, there are still a host of exercises this plyo box is good for, and it's been an attractive addition to our home gym.
