I thought this might be too small, but it’s perfect.

This is my first plyo box I've owned/purchased so I can't compare it to others, only to itself. The plyo box is sturdy and well made. It has no chemical odor. It comes well packed and includes a paper in broken English of "do and do-nots" and no instructions for assembly which is odd but it's easy enough to figure out, anyway. There are no inner parts to the box for extra stabilization. The wood sides are laminated layers and are thick and heavy. The side handles are helpful for moving the box around. The edges are smooth, no splintering. The screw holes line up correctly which becomes more apparent once it's together. During assembly the panels need to be held in place to get the holes to line up completely. It's not too much effort. The screws are well made, long enough and are sturdy, not cheap or thin. There is an allen wrench included, but it will likely blister and or hurt your fingers with all those (many) screws. If you don't have a drill with the right adapter you might want to use gloves, share the job with someone else or do it over time instead of all at once. I alternated between hands and it still blistered fingers on both of my hands. For a first-time user of a Plyo Box I started with this one, because it looked quality and at $40 is the lowest priced one I found. It is indeed sturdy (at least enough for me) I like it and am very glad to have it. If you have hard floors, I suggest putting a padded non-slip mat under it.

This is a sturdy box. I bought small size 14”x16”x12” to rehab muscle atrophy. If you’ve been at a gym using a higher box, the surface area on bigger boxes is much larger. If you plan to jump onto small size box, there won’t be room for landing error. Your feet will need to land closer to each other. This is a good price and it’s easy to assemble. Screws hold together the panel which you’ll have to screw using enclosed Allen wrench.

Although I haven’t tested this box. It looks and feels solid like the other ones I’ve used at CrossFit games gyms. I’m giving this 3 stars for now because although I searched high and low I did not find any assembly instructions so I had to look at pictures other customers had uploads. I searched YouTube to see if perhaps the Eleven company or someone had uploaded am assembly instruction video but did not find any.

This is a very sturdy box. Its relatively easy to put together. Well worth the money.a few negative when it comes to putting it together.1) The instructions are vague, but you should be able to figure it out (especially if I did! LOL)2) putting this together with the hex key tool that comes with it will take you forever. If you have a drill, and proper bit you can have this done in less than 10 mins. These 2 issues made me take a star off
