I got this to give to my sister for her birthday. It was fun to put together and even more fun to watch her take it off! The instructions are nice, clear pictures instead of words, so there's no issue with poorly-translated directions.I don't see anyone purchasing this for themselves, so make sure you keep the instructions (maybe put them in an envelope to give to your recipient after they've opened it) so that it can be reused at a later time. As fun as it is, I'm not sure I feel it's worth $30, but it's definitely fun!

Though I had never seen one of these before… They have actually been around for a while. I found this out while trying to find instructions online. There is a QR code on the side of the box, but it does not work. It takes you to a page that shows “404”. But I eventually came upon a video on YouTube from 2009. Though there are several others listed there as well. There are written instructions included, but… For me… They were just not a lot of help.If, like me, you have never seen this before… It is a very intriguing item. If you’re planning on drinking the wine immediately… You might want to have a second bottle available, because I have read that it can take from 15 to 20 minutes… And honestly… If I did not have instructions… It would take me even longer.This puzzle lock is made in China. At the current price of thirty bucks it’s at least twice the price it should be. Others on Amazon are charging no more than twenty bucks… So make sure you look around for the best price before purchasing.
