This water sender hose attachment is designed for compatibility with a radiator hose whose inside diameter is 38mm or 1-½”. It comes with two hose clamps which secure the line to the water temp sensor hose attachment. These clamps will firmly tighten to the radiator hose, ensuring that the Water Sender Adapter has a leak-tight seal.

For the money (around twelve bucks) this is a great little unit.It works as advertised; it's a part that allows you to install a real temperature sensor into your coolant system. You will need to either find a sensor that fits the threads or cut bigger threads; which is not a problem, because this unit is made of VERY SOFT aluminum.I like the extra screw hole it has, which allows for firm mounting (or attaching another bracket to) this, based upon your configuration; one caveat though: the screw is very close to the sensor port, and so if you are wanting to tap this out for a larger sensor (or if your sensor has a large hex bezel) you may run into clearance problems with it. This would be even better if it had more than one port and more than one mount hole... (and a couple plugs).All in all: highly recommended. 4.3 stars.

Don't like warning lights and don't trust them. It's best to have a gage to let you know what's going on. This adapter let me have the best of both worlds. Easy to install and easy to set up for temepture gage.Adapter is well made and exactly what I needed.

Fit into the hose it was supposed to with no problem, threads sealed just fine. Make sure to not use Teflon tape and hook up the ground connection if you have a one wire sensor
