Bought one at the freight store which I love by the way. It was accurate and cheaper but took it back as too crude. This tool is a work of art. Very nicely made and accurate. Easily worth the few dollars more. Checked with digital torque wrench and right on the money. I am very impressed with the quality.

I have been using it to do some valve cover gaskets. I am 100% confident the torque spec are correct and my work was properly done correctly. My only complaints is not having a table or chart included with the tool for the conversion from in lb to ft lb. The tool coming with a case was a plus. The ease of use is easy. Build nice and tool feel strong and durable.

I've only had one use so far but I like it. Case is nice and makes the wrench feel like when in it. The wrench feels firm in hand, and the click is quite noticeable both audibly and by touch (there's a slight jerk when specified torque is achieved).I am concerned about the paint job; it may not last very long (hopefully it doesn't affect the torque gradations). The length is very good, making it usable in tight spots, and it's good for 5-45 ft/lbs (you may need to spend some time getting used to setting the torque). The button to apply the socket latch is great! There's zero chance of the wrench sliding off the socket because of the lock mechanism but be aware that it is also needed to attached the wrench to the socket.

The product description does not mention it contains the bits but I assumed they would be, the packaging does have space for it, the seller removes them manually before shipping. For a product so high in price, such cheap tactics are not appreciated.

I'm a torque wrench junkie. I have torque wrenches from Central Tools, Proto, KD Tools, Armstrong, Precision Instruments, among others. All of my other torque wrenches, aside from this one, are made in USA. Actually I have a Gearwrench torque wrench that's made in China after Apex Tools moved their torque wrench production to China. I believe that was JS Technologies in Georgia, which was owned by Danaher Tool Group. Danaher merged with Cooper Tools, which became Apex. Apex was acquired by Bain Capital, which of course, being a good American company, sought to cut costs at all levels. Hence all US manufacturing (apart from government contract work) was moved to Asian countries. But I digress.....Sorry for the tangent. I got this torque wrench because when I'm changing the oil I have very little clearance to access the drain pan bolt. For reasons I don't fully understand, American tool companies make smaller torque wrenches (12 to 14 inches long) only for inch/pounds scales, which only go up to about 20 ft/lbs. My drain pan bolt needs 30 ft/lbs. So if I wanted a smaller torque wrench that could achieve 30 ft/lbs, the smallest American brand torque wrench I could get would be 18 inches long. This is too long. I can't even get it to click before it hits the ground or the bottom of my car. My old KD Tools torque wrench (made by JS Technologies I believe) was 5-75 ft/lbs and only 12 inches long and that's what I used until it finally broke. This was the only torque wrench I could find with a good ft/lbs torque range at 12 inches long. I do have aGerman made Gedore torque wrench that's about 13 inches long, and it's ok, but it doesn't have quick release and is only in newton meters (yes conversion to ft/lbs is easy....but still). And this little guy is great. It's accurate out of the box, it's small enough that I can torque the drain pan bolt with only a few swings, the quick release allows me to easily remove the socket with greasy hands. It seems fairly solid, although not snap on solid. It works. Bottom line. I mean it's a made in China torque wrench. But so are the Gearwrench. To be fair, most modestly priced quality torque wrenches are made in Taiwan, such as the Harbor Freight and the tool store brands like Cobalt, Harbor Freight, Menards, and others. I still prefer the USA made torque wrenches like Central Tools, CDI (owned by Snap On), Precision Instruments, Sturdevant Richmont (now owned by Snap On I think). But none of those guys made the size I needed. Anyways, recommend it, good stuff, great price.

I'm a DIY'er who works primarily on motorcycles and cars, with a wide range of torque needs. I already have a 0-200 in-lb wrench and a 20-100 ft-lb wrench, (both from that company that sells pricey tools from big white and red trucks), but I wanted to pick up something that would cover the range between those two. I figured this wrench might fit the need while not breaking the bank. Once it arrived, I put it up against my larger wrench, which had just been checked by my local white-and-red-truck guy. Both wrenches were set at 30 ft-lb. You can see in the photos that the results are remarkably close, so much so that I'm inclined to think the digital unit is probably the one with the error to the low side.Fit and finish on the Suercup are excellent. It's a nice-looking tool with good heft. The numbers are a bit small, but they are sharp and it is easy to set the desired torque values. The indexes are laser printed and in answer to my inquiry the seller said they would not withstand exposure to solvents, gas etc., so caution is recommended. (I'll note that the seller got right back to me when I asked about this.)Sockets slipped on and off the wrench easily. The wrench came in a very nice, molded plastic case, with a brief instruction page and a certification sheet that had the wrench's serial number and tested values on it. The case itself measures 12.5" x 4.75" x 2.0" and will do a fine job protecting the wrench.Overall I'm impressed, and will use the Suercup with confidence as to its accuracy.
