Not much choice as the OEM part is discontinued. But time will time if these replacements will last. However overall, the dampers are smaller in diameter and looks/feels a lot flimsier than the OEM part. The plastic sleeves and the pins are junk - thin plastic that breaks/bends. In trying to push the pin through one of the mounts cracked/broke the sleeves for the damper. The included plastic pins to secure the dampers to the washer are thin plastic that bend/deform with a small amount of force/pressure - I reused the much studier/thicker plastic pins from the washer. Let's see how long these last, but kept the original parts just in case. Installation was a bit difficult at times as the pins don't slide in/out easily, and in awkward locations where access is limited for my washer.

Didn’t find the right model shock absorbers as the washer I have is Canmore about 20 years old. Instead of investing a new washer, I just tried a pair of right size(other than right model). The washer turns quiet with no shaking and noisy after the absorbers are installed and it’s back to normal. The experience here is when you need SA, try right size if you couldn’t find right model.

Fit perfect, on my LG washer took my husband only 20-30 mins total time. I looked for this part from a dealer and was told it was discontinued. SO happy I found it on Amazon. I have model # WM2032HW washer. Hope this helps.

LG has stopped making this OEM part so it is not possible to order the OEM version of these shocks. I saw many reviews stating these were inferior to OEM parts. After an exhaustive search for OEM shocks, I decided to try these hoping they would work at least for a little while. These are much smaller diameter than the OEM shocks. My LG washer is at least 15 years old, so the OEM's lasted for a very long time. The OEM shocks had grease leaking out of them (which I assume is a sign of failure). After replacing them with these aftermarket shocks, i ran a wash load. These brand new aftermarket shocks allowed more washer vibration (during the spin cycle) than my 15 year old OEM failed shocks! It was not a load of towels or anything else that really stresses the washer during the spin cycle. Don't even bother trying these. Looks like I will have to engineer my own shocks or replace my washer since LG no longer makes this part. Again, save your money and time for replacement and pick a different path. I have looked for other aftermarket options also and can't find anything. I would rate these zero starts if possible.

This review is for LG 383EER3001E Washer Shock Absorber(3 pk), if your LG washer machine used the same shock absorber as in the pictures, in my opinion the shock absorber is the best choice you can make. And this after I spent days looking for something good and close to my LG 383EER3001E Washer Shock Absorber (LG WM2277HW washing machine). The good stuffs: one year warranty, they open and close the same length as the original one. They are made from steel and plastic as original one. And because they don’t come apart is easier and safer to install.I wish they were little bit firmer.

i recently replaced both bearings, bearings seal and outer tub seal in my LG front-loading washer ..i am so glad i did this for myself .. using OEM parts i saved a lot of money and learned how simple this complicated looking machine really is .. and now my 15+ year old washer runs like new ..however ..after reassembling the washer and testing it .. i found that it shook rather violently within the machine .. just the tub and drum inside ..so i tore it apart again .. and ordered theseif your washing machine is shaking much from side to side .. within the machine itself .. you probably need to replace these ..

I have a LG WM0642HW front load washer. It's about 11 years old and was really jumping around. So I order the new shock absorbers and it solved the problem. Easy install, take the back panel off and pushed the washer forward and I was able to access all 3 from the bottom and back without removing more panels. Took about 30 minutes. A deep 3/8's socket about the size of the plastic pin works well for removal and installation. Good luck everybody just confirm your model number before ordering for the correct part.

These “dryer shocks” are working fine. I’ve done 40+ loads and all is well so far. The are substantially thinner in diameter than the original LE part.

real easy to install, just make sure the orientation is the same as the old ones.hint, to remove the old pins, use a 12mm long socket to push in the clip before pulling the pin
