These reachers are very good. They are strong and durable. The grip part of them works well and can hold objects when we need to pick them up. IT's nice to have 2 lengths, when you don't need the extra length the shorter one is easier to control, but great to have the longer when it's needed.These do fold. So far. I prefer to just keep the, stretched out. They have locks on them to keep them from bending while un use.

This grabber is a good design and folds up great. It’s big enough for most adults to reach the ground and pick up trash or litter, without getting too heavy to keep using. The grab function is smooth and works well with repeated use. Folding up takes some getting used to but is easy.

This item shipped and arrived fast. These long reach grabbed a very well made and fell solidly made, not like the cheap ones. They are very easy to use and they function great. I really like that these models fold up. They have a hook and loop strap to help keep them closed. When you open the grabbers at 2 sections there are metal locking clasps that hold the grabbers open and they do grab a nice tight hold on the sections but are easy to open when you want to fold them back up. On one side of the front of a grabber is a strong little magnet to pick up miscellaneous metal objects and they function well. The grabbers are light in weight but they grab a nice tight hold on what you grab. The silicone inserts built into the grabbers ends make sure items do not slip out and fall. For a set of 2 these are a great value for the money. Overall these fell like they will last a very long time and they function very well to do their purpose. I rated these 5 stars.

This set comes with two grabbers, one 44" and one 38" long, making it ideal for reaching objects on the ground, under furniture, on a shelf, or in hard-to-reach places. Both grabbers feature a foldable design that locks securely in place and folds down for easy storage, which is great for those looking to save space. The tool performs best when retrieving items below waist level, like dropped keys, stuffed toys, or even shoes, but does a fine job for high up items for the vertically challenged people like myself. The jaws close tightly, and the rubberized grips work well on most objects. Each grabber also has a small magnet at the end, which is handy for picking up metallic objects like paperclips or keys, but I haven’t had to use that function yet. One of the standout features is the adjustable head, which can rotate 90 degrees for comfortable wrist positioning. The trigger grip strength also depends on your hand strength, so it may not be the best option for those with weak hands or arthritis. It's also worth noting that it may be a bit too heavy for older users, and the locking mechanism might require some dexterity to use effectively. However, for my purposes to grab something here and there, it works quite well.

Even countering the weight of it alone on my hand is weird; like the handle needs to be larger because I have to balance it on the outside pad of my palm. I don’t have mobility issues or problems with my wrist or joints and assume that this wouldn’t be easy for anyone with those issues to use because of the weight and weird handle. Maybe the handle is too small; I can’t put my finger on why it doesn’t work for me. The weight makes it feel like it’ll last a while; it doesn’t feel cheap. But the weight also makes is uncomfortable to use.It would work well for picking up trash on the ground or grabbing something at shoulder level or a teeny bit higher, but it’s not good for getting stuff out of dumpsters; the claws aren’t right for that activity. It is easy to rotate the claws to change the direction of the grab. It’s easy to fold and unfold this as well; I like that it collapses to take up less room.

These GrabRunner Reacher Tools are a very convenient set. I love the idea of having foldable grabbers so it is possible to pack them in luggage, etc. They are lightweight and comfortable to use. The problem is that the plastic used for the trigger seems to be too lightweight. The one on the longer of the two grabbers completely cracked the second time my grandmother squeezed it. I know she doesn't have super strength and the item was fresh out of the package when she tried it out so either it was a defective unit or a design flaw. If you're willing to take a chance on these for light-duty use, you could find a good tool in them. I just wouldn't depend on them to last due to the possibly too lightweight construction.
