I bought this to put under our solo fire pit. It works great, we felt comfortable having a fire with it on the deck.

Here's what happened after I used this product for the first time. It was advertised with a picture of a fire pit on a wood deck. Well, it doesn't work. I smelled the deck burning and immediately removed the fire pit and this useless "protection" and here's what was underneath. I actually seems like it concentrated the heat from the fire pit.
