In the image, the beads look a little brighter than they do in person, but they are still good. I like the wide range of color choices you get. I wish there was a darker red and a darker gray but otherwise, they melted really nice and evenly!

I bought this kit as a starting off point for this hobby. I had a lot of fun and created some cool pieces. However, ran out of black very quickly and went to the store to pick up some Perler brand black beads. After working on a project with the Perler black and the colored beads from this kit, i went to melt them and these melt a lot quicker than the perler brand ones do. This left my project basically unfinishable and a bunch of wasted time. I do hope to use the rest of these beads at some point but i would recomend anybody that is wanting to seriously get into the hobby to just go straight to Perler or find another bulk bead store online. All in all a good product but I basically had to replace all of them when i switched to Perler.

We have been doing Perler/Fuse beads for two years, so we often need refills, as my kids use these EVERY DAY. The colors in this set are great! They come in ziplock bags, instead of cheap plastic bags like other sets. There are more colors than we could fit in our divided container, so we leave them in the baggies in a basket. We will probably order this set again when we run out. Extremely happy with this order!

This is a great starter kit, but they're slightly different from Perler Beads. They're slightly taller, which could mean weird issues when you're ironing. Here are 38 of the 45 colors that were included, along with the same Perler color name:ClearWhiteGreyDark GreyBlackGold MetallicSilverHot CoralSalmonLight PinkPinkTanHoneyLight BrownBrownPeachPastel YellowYellowCheddarOrangeBlushRedTomatoShamrockDark GreenGreenPastel GreenParrot GreenPrickly PearTealToothpasteSkyDark BlueMidnightPastel LavenderPurpleRaspberryPlumThere are also 5 "neon" colors:Neon PinkNeon YellowNeon BlueNeon GreenNeon OrangeThe last 2 I couldn't find a Perler equivalent name for:"Bright Yellow" (this is like a non-translucent Neon Yellow)"Pearl" (this is a shiny white, almost looks opalescent)

We have been having a lot of fun making gifts with "perler beads" and I was very happy to find this brand and see that the quality is the same as the more expensive brand we were used to. The value for the money is great and the set includes a great variety of bead colors. The beads are packaged really well and are separated by color into little baggies, making it very easy to begin creating. They fuse together perfectly and the projects we have created are sturdy!

These beads, and there are sooooo many of them, are fantastic! They come in pre-sorted baggies so you don’t have to spend hours sorting through a mixed bucket, there are scads and hordes of them, and they play well with Perler. This little guy’s black and white beads are Perler, and the colors come from this set. Oh! And the BEST part? The ironing “papers” the set came with are ACETATE!!!! Parchment ironing papers give the finished beads a matte finish, and acetate gives them a shiny finish! The acetate papers MAKE this set!!!Honest observations: I have bought three sets of these, one and then two more, and the bead assortment is *almost* the same, but not quite. If you are going to need more than one set, buy them at the same time. Also, I bought mine at 29.95. At the time of this review, the set is now 33.95. Hopefully the price doesn’t keep going up...And yes, my ironing skills need work, but I’ve got plenty of beads to practice with, thanks to this set!!!
