You can’t go wrong with Perler beads. My 7 year old has enjoyed this set that she got for Christmas. The beads are organized, and in two cases, which I love. I do wish the cases were a harder plastic, but to be honest, it hasn’t affected anything. They still store well. You get a lot of beads for a good price. I would buy this as a gift for any child.

A great quiet time activity that kept my kids (8, 6, and 3) engaged for over an hour! Every color they could need (and more!) is in this set. Very easy to keep organized in the case. Great for a variety of ages too!

I wish the bead holder was a little nicer. We ended up having to buy separate storage because the beads ended up everywhere. The booklet it came with also isn't great, but had a lot of ideas.

Arrived quickly, and packaged very well. This starter set is perfect since it includes all of their main colours available and then a majority of their secondary colours. They're all separated in convenient trays. The colours are as follows; white, yellow, orange, red, purple, dark blue, light blue, dark green, light green, brown, grey, black, clear, light brown, peach, magenta, purple glitter, neon orange, neon green, pastel blue, pastel lavender, pastel yellow, cheddar, toothpaste, hot coral, plum, kiwi lime, turquoise, transparent turquoise, green, pink, and prickly pear.

I ordered this on Sep 24, it came the next week (I don't have prime and pay the lowest shipping possible every time). I made the finn head on this products yellow mini perler bead board. I made chansey on the biggest board (sold separate), I made emila and drowzee on the regular sized boards (sold separate). I also have a ton more ironing paper and little perler tongs (both sold separate as well).So basically I used separate boards, but all the same perler beads from this box. It lasts you a few projects, if you know you're going to make bigger projects like me you should probably go with buying bulk perler beads instead of this starter box. If I could go back that's what I'd do! All in all I think its a good starter box for anyone interested in perler beads, but again I bought everything else separate other than what was listed above and only created the finn head with all the original things in the box.enjoy having fun with these thangs!

Good product to keep my boys busy, it helps them with their patience and attention span. I like that it comes with two separate packs of beads so that you can just buy one for two kids to play.

This was the first Perler Bead product I've ever purchased in my life. I was super impressed with the variety of colors it offered and it was packaged in such a nice way. I have really enjoyed doing arts and crafts with this activity kit. I'm not disappointed at all with it. I plan on purchasing it again for a friend's daughter as a belated birthday present. I think its great for someone who is just getting introduced to Perler Beads or even for a group activity.

This is the very first perler bead set we bought. We had heard so many good things from friends, we wanted to try out a basic pack that had lots in it. This kit does the trick with lots of good bead colors and design choices and options. We have since bought lots more pegboards and basic colors. Perfect toy and keeps the kids busy for hours!

My 7 yr daughter and I love this and I will purchase again when this one runs out. I wish the heart–shape was provided instead of the turtle–shape and it would be great if there were a few striped beads, but those things can be purchased separately. Even my 3 year old son can do this, which is excellent practice for his fine motor skills. The “idea booklet” is nothing, but go on Pinterest for ideas like making them into keychains, rings, bookmarks, coasters, magnets, etc. Enjoy being creative!
