Love having these for when seedlings get a little too large for the tray and need to be split early. Or just for starting seeds in to begin with.They feel sturdy and thick and absorb water well for bottom watering!

I am a newbie and didn't think I would be able to get anything to grow. This kit is absolutely perfect. The cute little domestic fit nicely on top and since I water from the bottom there is no need to mess with them until you need to take them off when the plants sprout or if you need to split the plants into more containers. The lids are somewhat difficult to separate but nothing that can't be managed easily. When the plants are ready they will be very easy to transfer to the garden. I couldn't be happier with them and plan to purchase more. I highly recommend.

I ordered this kit to start seedlings in my new greenhouse. While the kit only contains 36 pots, it will help with starting seeds that don't like to be transplanted later. I can simply open the bottom of the pot and place it in a hole in the raised outdoor garden bed. I like that it comes with plant marker stakes, so it is ready to use right out of the box. The dome lids are nice to help slow down evaporation. You still need to keep the pot watered, as moisture will be drawn out from the sides of the pot, not just the soil surface. I like this kit and recommend it.

Love these and writing little sayings on them to make them extra special. Only problem I have with mine is the dome lid doesn’t stay on them at all.

Lids will not stay on. Moisture evaporates from base cups and never forms condensation in the dome lid. To water you must lift each lid individually and struggle for 10 seconds to replace the lid. Was thinking of conservation, but at the end of the season, I will have plastic lids and no cups. Stick to the growing trays.

These little peat pots are very sturdy and last for quite a long time between waterings. Perfect size for planting seeds and cuttings. Dome helps with keeping in humidity which is essential for up starting growth. When the time comes for transplanting, simply pop the little pot into a larger pot or ground so that there is less chance of shock. The little shovel and spade set was an added bonus and really makes planting much more fun. Love these peat pots and would like to order more without getting another pair of the shovel set.
