My bought this to use in the emergency department for focus detailed work such as suturing. Would also be handy for small tasks at home where you need to use both of your hands. Light is very bright and battery. Life seems to last a long time before recharging.

This is way too expensive of an item for such cheap materials and the light is nothing spectacular. I bought it for my father who is a surgeon. This is not comfortable at all.

This illuminated loupe device provides good magnification and illumination to assist in in-office ophthalmic procedures performed by vitreoretinal surgeons. Much of its construction is plastic so treat it with care and as little manipulation as possible to enhance lifespan.
